Birds and Pets

There is ample parking. The fish we bought there all died in quick succession. Very popular place. They sell a wide variety of animals. They are very pricey.

Honestly, I am sure the owners are disinvesting, will probably close down soon. Stock levels have dwindled to almost nothing, and the cages outaide is ill maintained and in disrepair. The Aquarium still seems to be going strong but the rest of the shop looks absolutely decimated.

Was at this place yesterday. 10 puppies all in need of different help. One so sick walking with him back up in pain.three lying in corner not sure alive. Three other babies just sitting there. No water, food full of shit. Horrible Horrible Horrible. Reported to spca

Really bad service, I would not recommend this Pet shop to anyone! The guy I spoke to was rude no common decency just to greet you. They will never see me again. Rather drive a bit further and go to a place where you receive a bit of respect as a customer.

Great variety in a very chilled setting. There is a little something for everyone. Plants to reptiles to custom built cages. There is also an awesome biltong shop where I also buy my eggs from.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Being a 1st time Chicken owner I trusted the staff to sell me healthy Orpington hens and the poor animals were sick an I wasnt aware of it. Today I had to put one girl down because she was too far gone. On going back to the shop, the manager could not help or offer half refund - nothing. The whole interaction was ineffectual and left a bad taste.

We bought a Jack Russell puppy from them on Friday 10th May, 9 weeks old, she was pretty playful and lovely, her vet card said she had had two vaccines so far and had been dewormed. We planned on taking her to the very the next day to check her out, in the meantime she climbed right into our hearts. The next morning there was blood in her poop, so we rushed her to the vet like we had planned. They treated her worms and a parasite. Then Sunday we didn’t take her, but she was okay, Monday she was still pooping blood, took her to the vet Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday she was admitted. It is now a week since we have had her, she has been in hospital since 15th May 2024, she has just deteriorated more and more and is at deaths door. We don’t think she is going to make it. I don’t think people should buy puppies from this pet shop or any animals, they are all so sick. I’m going to report them to the SPCA. I won’t even ask for a refund because I’m sure they won’t give one.
