Leon's on 62

Leon’s on 62 is an absolute gem and truly one of the warmest, most heartfelt places we’ve ever visited. From the very first moment we walked in, we felt completely at home. Leon greeted us with such genuine kindness and warmth, and the presence of the cutest sausage dogs and other animals made the atmosphere even more special, cozy, and joyful. The selection of homemade goodies is just stunning, everything looks and tastes like it’s been made with so much love and care. Our meals were extremely delicious, full of flavor, and clearly prepared with passion and attention to detail. You can really feel the heart behind every dish. Thank you so much, dearest Leon, for your love, your care, and your bright, kind, beautiful spirit. You don’t just run a restaurant: you create a little haven of happiness for everyone who walks through your door. We truly cannot wait to visit you again soon. Was looking for a place to drink some wine with friends. Found this place very peaceful and nice. Place is neatly decorated and the wine was define. We didn't eat anything so that is why there is on 4 star. Hope next time I visit the Cape I will definitely try the food.

Found it by accident looking for a pet-friendly lunch spot- but wow- best oxtail bredie ever!!! To sit in the garden and sip some wine, hearing the lovely birds in the garden- bliss! Our kids LOVED the chocolate shake. Highly recommend!!

Lovely place in Montagu for a wholesome homemade traditional meal in a laid back setting. In my case had the Bobotie and it was quite tasty. Service was great and prices for value outstanding. From the outside you don’t see into the garden- where you walk into basically a home’s backyard that feels homey. They also sell homemade jams and other products- really wish we would have not been at the end of our trip so I could have bought a jar to enjoy while in SA.

I had a very tasty cape malai curry with several veggie side dishes. Really delicious. The garden is wonderful and you sit sheltered, quiet and cosy at the back of the house. I recommend Leon's on 62 very much

The best lynch this holiday. Unreal curry and best rump steak. The beetroot and greenbeans with food was treat. Leon’s personal touch and service made it special. Pet friendly as well. Don’t miss this gem when you visit Montagu

A warm welcome with delicious homemade food. I had the oxtail, and it was fall off the bone tender. It is a rustic setting with tons of character. The prices were very reasonable. They also have preserves,jams, and rusks for sale. I will highly recommend Leon's.
