Was at the pharmacy today at around 1:15pm, I am not sure whether it is legal for someone to be on duty while under the influence of alcohol. The pharmacist who assisted me was clearly intoxicated and it was noticeable to anyone. He had to contact the doctor who prescribed my medication to clarify the prescription, not that he doesn't see doctor's writing but was agains my medication. The process was unnecessarily delayed and during this time he also asked unrelated questions such as whether I had ever stopped using my medical aid. Due to the delay and the lack of available parking, my vehicle was towed while I was still waiting to be assisted. There was no sense of urgency or professionalism displayed. As a result I was unable to collect my medication because I had to leave urgently to resolve the issue of my vehicle at the traffic department. This entire experience was extremely frustrating. While I understand that it is festive season, but it is unacceptable and unsafe for pharmacy staff to be working while intoxicated. What made the situation worse was that the individual appeared to be proud of it, while other staff members were laughing at him asking if he is okay, showing a complete disregard for patient safety and professional standards.

The service is fine. But most importantly they have an in-house nurse service for medical assessment and assistance...at an affordable price, This is very helpful if you dont have enough for a GP. +-R300 gets you an evaluation, diagnosis, injection (if needed) and a highly sufficient amount of medication. 5 Stars!! Considering the price point and what you get in return

Thanks for the lovely service. I literally went all around Mthatha looking for a pharmacy that opens till late as I only leave out of work at 17:00. To my surprise I went to Elliot pharmacy to get everything I wanted at 18:00.. You guys close off at 20:00 that is really amazing. Thank u for also considering that we dont get a chance to go to town during the day and open till late. Your staff is incredible and their service is impressive.

Their service is quick, staff is always willing to help, they open from 6am to 9pm every... They are absolutely the best 👌

I always get everything I need and peaple there are very kind loving and respect and also they very confidentially.
