Beautiful store and staff are a delight

I visited Woolies Mthatha Mall today and when I paid, my card declined. The cashier said I must check my balance, I replied there's enough money in the card and I was certain of it. She was so rude and insinuated that my card declined due to insufficient funds. On my third try, using the same card, the payment went through. Her tone was rude and condescending. I expected better service from Woolworths.

Terrible management in this Woolworths. Long ques for no reason. People buying their groceries in the the clothing till. All tills not working at a busy time. Slow service. Disinterested management to proper functioning of Woolworths processes. The food market utilising the clothing tills. Waited almost an hour to pay for no reason other than mismanagement.

Edit: The air con is fixed now….it is a much more pleasant place to shop. Thank you to the centre and shop management. October 2024 Yesterday was the most uncomfortable shopping experience I have ever had. The store is always a little too warm and I have complained to the staff before, but yesterday I broke out into a sweat almost as soon as I stepped into the shop. I would give the staff at the store kudos, they are generally helpful and try their best. BUT the store is TOO HOT! Please fix the air conditioning in the store.
