D-Tail Dog & Cat Parlour

I'm so super stoked , service is beyond my expectations. Friendly staff, attentive and great service. My pup even came out with a cute bow. Definitely unexpected and definitely going back!

My border collie always looks so pretty when she returns. They treat her with respect at D-Tail, and take into account that her one leg is sore and sensitive from a bad break a few years ago

Definitely by far the best cut and wash my dog has ever had. They listened to exactly what i wanted and did a better job then i ever expected.

Since taking my babies to D tail, their overall skin health has improved (a lot of parlour sometimes hurt the dog by accident and never tell you) and their fur is softer than ever. I appreciate that they add a personal touch to their services. Pricing is also far more reasonable than other parlours I've used before

Just the mere fact that the receptionist greeted in Afrikaans only put me off. We are English 1st language nation. This tells me that they only service afrikaans speakers. Goei more, Good morning would have been nice

Was with D'Tail for four very happy years. They've shaved our family mini poodle, and I've had near to no complaints. My dog has SEVERE anxiety, and D'Tail was made aware of this the very first time we took him, and several times thereafter. Today I took my dog there at 8 am, after making an appointment with them. First they said we had no appointment, and then after finding said appointment, they took him in. Once again I would like to note that they are AWARE that he has anxiety. After SIX HOURS of trying to get ahold of them, calling, sending Whatsapps with no answer, they get back to us just to say they were STILL NOT DONE! At 3 pm, we finally get a call from them saying that they're done. SEVEN HOURS my dog was there. Absolutely appalled by the service today. My dog will not be going back. Despite full knowledge of his condition they still didn't even let us know that there was a delay, no answer in calls, whatsapps, etc. He got home, and absolutely attacked his water bowl. Meaning he was most likely left in a cage during that time without any water as well. Very upset, and also very sad. Might be the first time this happened, but the lack of communication and the the time it took, once again knowing my dog has to be medicated for his parlour period, is absolutely unacceptable.
