Nice petshop to visit. Snakes...alligators....fish ...bird and much more to see and buy. Prices very low. Nice place to take you're children too.
Animals are not properly cared for. The shop had newborn bearded dragon hatchings (clearly not at the ethical age to sell) that were in very poor condition. They are all malnourished and have sunken eyes. One was already dead. When I informed staff she very nonchalantly removed the dead baby and did not listen to me when I kindly tried to inform her that the extra large crickets in their enclosure poses a safety concern as crickets bite small reptiles and there is a risk of impaction if one of the babies tries to eat one. Beardies of this age need to be manually provided with water as they do not yet know how to drink from a water dish. It is very clear that none of these babies have been provided with water on their noses to drink, and it is clear that they are not being fed manually to ensure that they receive enough nutrients. At the back of the stoor they also had kittens, one of which seemed like it’s eyes were just starting to open, meaning it should still be with it’s mother and be drinking milk. This petshop is not ethical and seems to view these animals as just another product to sell. I did contact springs SPCA as I fear all of these baby animals may end up dead (like the baby bearded dragon), as they are clearly not properly cared for.
Extremely disappointed...bought a tarantula baby 2weeks ago, the Sales girl took the spider out and dropped it 3 times before putting it back in the cage... since then she's been acting strange, not eating, eventually molded and died due to being to weak for the molding process... R1000 well wasted... Not to mention we wanted to buy pin head crickets but was told we have to take the small crickets which eventually we realized was too big for her... went back to get pin heads and peat just to find the spider is dead... another R100 wasted.... My daughter has been crying 3 days straight...
Lovely place and very organized! Beautiful reptiles and aquatic life to be found here. Definitely the best place in Springs for any critter you would love!
Brilliant service from Dominique, Simon, Japie and Tebogo... Well educated on what they sell, animals look in great condition.
Very disappointed, that's all I have words for, they can't give you prices or tell you what they will pay when buying stock, they ask you what you want so they can rip you off
Very nice reptile shop good prices friendly service
