I went in tyi buy this biltong, pie and more butyty I ended up getting buying biltong and the pie then I lefttr because, the shop feels like a refrigerator itself, why is it suppose to be this cold like they keeping corpse inside Anyway besides it being so cold everything is exceptional 👌I even paid my tv license there Thank you

Wow, what a shining example of customer service from Itumeleng at Checkers ! I mean, who needs a friendly greeting or a simple introduction, right? Not when you can just jump straight into trying to upsell me on something I see is going at way less due to you not updating your prices? Itumeleng, the self-appointed Sales King, informed me that the amazing deal I saw was, unfortunately, no longer available... but he could offer me something even better. I was so impressed by his eagerness to help me part with my hard-earned cash. 10/10 would not recommend. Please, retrain your staff.

I visited Checkers new Market and what a pleasure it was. The staff was so supportive. It was a pleasure to shop there. I also relaxed at Tataki. What a pleasure if you love Sushi. I live this New Market life style Centre. There is such a variety of Shops. It is a perfect mix of Shops.

The shop is always well stocked. They sell the most amazing fried hake and fish pops. Compliments to the chef

I want to thank Checkers Hyper for keeping my lost package. I somehow managed to leave my beauty products at the store. Fairly certain it’s lost/stolen, the staff at Checkers kept it for me. I was most delighted and it really made my day. 🥰 thank you ladies for your honesty and kind smiles.

I love the freshness of everything, the great lighting helps and the space in the aisles seem a tad wider or it's just the great vibe of the place that helps eliminate the stress of shopping while space is small. Love that the fruit & veggies are fresh it helps with home cooking ✌️🦋🤲

My favorite shop to visit. Store is clean and staff can be friendly. All my weekly and monthly shopping gets done here as I find the specials beneficial to our budget.
