Overcharge with everything Took my dog for an injury they did xray on the wrong parts and said in a weeks time i would have to consider amputation with no exact diagnosis or explanation to why When asked why did they take xrays on the wrong parts and not the part that's sore they phoned and said there was no problem on that part , the hospital looks great but the knowledge not so much And arrogant as well apparently failure on my side ...i don't think so what explanations did you give none .. failure to say thank you for what ? Thats your job . I pay you for your job . And why would i bring my dog back to you after that experience.. rather take in your bad reviews than being arrogant about it and denying any allegations. I am not the only one that has complained so the problem is not by my side I have taken my dog to north rand and got a completely different diagnosis and treatment my dog is a lot better Would recommend everyone to take your pets to north rand much better pricing and excellent service

One of the best vets ever with the doctor actually cares for your animal and doesn't have 1000+ consulting fee. My dog(s) are super happy and love the vet now. They do a really good job

I have been a loyal client of Rynfield Vet for many years, and historically the service was exceptional. Kim has always demonstrated excellent professionalism, with impressive product knowledge and a clear understanding of her role. Sean, without question, was the standout — consistently reliable, approachable, and genuinely invested in both clients and their pets. However, the recent decline in service has been hard to ignore. Each visit now seems to introduce yet another new staff member, and the constant turnover is starting to feel less like "growth" and more like disorganization. The replacements, to be completely honest, have been questionable at best, and the consistency and competence that once defined this practice appear to have slipped. It leaves one wondering what exactly is going on behind the scenes, because this is certainly not the Rynfield Vet standard many of us came to trust.

The staff at this clinic are most unprofessional, felt like I was in a kindergarten and not a clinic. Overpriced service for what could have been a really simple stitching. Would not recommend their practice at all. - An UPDATE: The response from the owner simply highlights my point where they cannot even bother to get my name spelled correctly and the attitude towards their clients is awful . The phone call to me was not one of concern but one of trying to manage the narrative - They are unprofessional in their dealings and need to address their own internal staff issues.

We took our cat to this vet as she had injured her foot. Her toe was standing up as if dislocated and she was limping and in pain. We thought it was a dislocated toe but it turns out that she had somehow torn her Achilles tendon and all the muscles. She went in for an operation and the Dr reattached the damaged tendons and muscles. He was concerned about infection but sent the cat home with us the next day, all bandaged up in a cast. This cast proved problematic for the cat to use the sandbox and move around. She looked so unhappy. The next week we took her for a bandage change and checkup and the Dr said her foot had developed a bad infection. Cat came home again with meds and a new cast. She endured lots of pain and discomfort and by her following checkup it was found that the infection had spread. She was immediately rushed to surgery for an emergency amputation of her hind leg. She came home the next day without her hind leg but with no plaster cast or bandages. We were surprised to see that the 2nd day after the op, she was able to jump off the bed, use her sandbox and jump back on the bed. She is doing well so far. Thanks to Dr Piet and his staff. Keep up the good work.

WOW! 100/10 I just want to thank Dr. Pieter for his amazing service and care of our furry baby. Thank you to the staff as well, they kept us informed everyday on how our baby is doing after her operation. Definitely the best vet I have been to.
