Fichardt Park Animal Clinic

Dr. Ingrid has performed highly complicated surgeries for us—including bone and eye procedures—and she has even shown us implants so advanced they feel close to human medicine. She is never limited in what she can do, and she is always there with compassion and calmness, especially when I panic, because she understands that my pets are my family and my whole world. She works tirelessly, 24/7, always putting the animals first, even in the hardest situations. She truly does everything possible for every pet. She has cared for all of ours—with exceptional skill and dedication. Her knowledge is advanced, and she is far ahead in both medical and surgical techniques. We are endlessly grateful for her talent, her heart, and her unwavering commitment. And it doesn’t stop there—the entire Dr. Metz family are extraordinary veterinarians. Dr. Ingrid’s father’s diagnoses are always on point, delivered with a sense of humor, and her mother is exceptional in surgery. They are truly an incredible team and, without a doubt, the best veterinary family we have ever known. The cherry on top is the amazing support team: Shandre’, Karen, and Rosie. They always answer the phone with dedication and kindness, going out of their way to help. Shandré is incredibly knowledgeable and even helped us choose the perfect food that transformed our dog’s health. We could not be more grateful for this entire team—they are simply exceptional

I have no idea how people could have such horrible reasons why they don't recommend this vet ,i would disagree . They are the best that i have came across in bloemfontein...and Ingrid is the best ,she gives explanations and answers ,where i have not received that before from the other vets ,she is brilliant and sometimes she doesn't get proper sleep due to emergencies at night but she still shows up ...she is treating your animal not you and she is gentle... you have to pay ,how can they keep up their staff and all the equipment if you do not pay ,people are leaving bad reviews because they couldn't pay immediately but honestly be realistic, you can't get special treatment because then it would not be professional and people would start taking advantage...i think this is the best vet in bloem i have come across and ingrid is the best vet she actually solves problems and helps my dogs where some vets has made the problem worst ...people should do some reflection...you should put money away every month just for vet situations because an animal is not cheap and needs the best of care be prepared for every situation and take better care of your animal ,i honestly have no complaints and i am always satisfied with the service she also has treated my moms animal and i would recommend anyone to her ... Its a professional vet I would also like to add places that give the (make you feel part of the family) i have been to in bloem and they just make the problem worst they also might save you some money but the recommended products actually makes the problem worst and in the long run will cost you more or not solve the problem you are dealing with ...i don't care to feel part of the family at a vet i prefer my animal to get the best service from a professional vet just like this vet ...it shows what kind of care giver you are towards your animal ,you probably care more about your own feelings compared to your animals feelings ...also they don't just put your animal down ,my grandmas cat is old and has a condition where she was told if a human or dog was in such condition they would not be able to walk ,they did not just take the cat and put the cat to sleep they gave her pills and told my grandma to check if it does not help then they will have to put her to sleep because people really you do not let your animal suffer because you can't let go really how selfish are you and also my grandmas cat is living her best last years with my grandma at home she walks beter and shes happy she follows my grandma around and she eats etc Stop leaving reviews just because your feelings might got hurt

Dr Ingrid and her team are truly exceptional. They work around the clock! They took outstanding care of Peanut during his cystotomy, and I honestly believe they are the best surgeons in Bloemfontein. From the procedure itself to the fantastic aftercare, everything was handled with professionalism, skill, and genuine compassion. Their after-hours availability gave us so much peace of mind during a stressful time. I am incredibly grateful for their dedication and would highly recommend Dr Ingrid and her team to anyone looking for top-quality veterinary care. We are blessed!

Dr Metz and Dr Ingrid are really fantastic. They really went out of their way and did everything possible for my little guinea pig. They are very kind and explained everything in detail to me. I will be forever grateful to them for what they do for me and my fur babies.

Best vets in town. Dr Ingrid is amazing and he dad is so excellent too. We are fortunate to have you!

The wait is ALWAYS worth it! Brilliant vets with substantial knowledge, expertise and experience! Much more affordable than other vets, with very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff.

Really excellent care for animals. They really take care & the staff are all really kind and welcoming. The only veterans I would take my animals to ! They know what they're doing ! I would trust no one else! Been with them for 11 plus years !
