Thank you to the amazing team at Zwartkop Animal Clinic for taking such great care of my puppy, Zuri. As a new puppy parent it was really scary seeing him unwell so soon after bringing him home, but the vets and staff were incredibly kind, professional and reassuring. Zuri received the treatment he needed. I truly appreciate the compassion and care shown to both of us. Highly recommended!
I took my cat for neutering and I am very happy with the outcome. The receptionist was lovely from the time I booked an appointment online until the very end. My cat was treated so well and he healed in less than 2 weeks. I am definitely taking my 2nd cat to you guys.
I took my puppy to this vet two weeks ago to be neutered, and the way I was treated was honestly terrible. While I believe they look after the animals physically, their client communication is rude, unprofessional and very judgmental. From the moment I arrived, the woman at the front desk was extremely rude. She questioned why my puppy was shaking and anxious, even though I explained that he had just been shaved the day before, he is still a young puppy not used to lots of people or animals, and he had gotten into trouble that morning for peeing in the house. What upset me most was that she later told other staff members that I "hit my dog" just because he was anxious. When I came to fetch him after surgery, another staff member who wasn’t even there that morning said, "Now your dog is not going to get hit because he peed in the house." This is completely untrue, extremely hurtful and very unprofessional. I did NOT hit my dog. She also shouted from another room at my puppy to "be quiet" while he was crying and barking after his operation, even though he was clearly scared and anxious. After the surgery, I got a follow-up call asking how my dog was doing. I said I was worried that his cone/e-collar was too short. They told me to just move it up and bring him back in two weeks for stitch removal, but this did not solve the problem and I wasn’t given proper post-op instructions. I had to keep Googling answers because the vet never explained things clearly. They also kept calling my dog a "bad dog", even though he had done nothing wrong and they knew he was an anxious puppy. When I went back for his stitch removal, the same woman spoke to me in a rude tone and demanded to know why his stitches were already out. She even accused me of taking off his cone/e-collar, which I did not do. Instead of helping, she went on a rant and made me feel like I was a bad owner. She also made sarcastic comments about my family, asking if they "even have eyes", just because I said my family members told me everything looked okay. Overall, this place showed zero care in how they speak to clients, zero proper communication, and zero professionalism. They made an already stressful situation so much worse. I will never take my dog back there again.
The few time I have visited the practice I found staff to be friendly and helpfull. My babies don't seem to be as anxious as they are at other vets. I like the fact that they work on appointments for routine check ups / vaccinations, although you sometimes wait because there might be emergencies, you don't wait as long as you would at other vets.
I have a had two visits of late to the Clinic.. the assistance, support, friendliness, advice and professionalism have been nothing other than PHENOMENAL!!! My furry children were so well treated. To walk in and be addressed by your name too.. well done ladies THERE IS A WINNING TEAM THERE. Thank you for your support
Lovely clinic. Always helpful and very friendly. I take my 2 dogs and my new kitten there and I have always been very pleased with their service. Lovely caring vets and nurses ❤️
We lovvveeee Zwartkop - they are more affordable than most practises, and they are like a family. Small practices are the best, because you can feel comfort that they know your dog, they know you, and you get to know your vet personally.
