Wagtails Charity Shop - Walmer

I love buying books from this shop! There are hundreds of books to choose from and they’re nicely catalogued - separated by genre and shelved alphabetically by author. Most books are between R10-R20 each and the shop is <5km from PE airport. It’s well worth a stop and the proceeds go to a wonderful cause.

Always pleased with the incredibly kind, helpful, happy ladies who work at Wagtails. Love their cheerful energy. 😊 The shop itself is great with an amazing selection and perfect pricing. I've bought books, toys, exercise equipment, and clothing, and will continue coming back!

Went into Wagtails yesterday and what a lovely experience. New layout, friendly staff members and the most gorgeous vintage old school music playing in the background filled the shop with so much ambience. Thank you to Mariana and her team for a beautiful morning. I will certainly be back 💯

Had an amazing layout and a lot of different things to get for pretty nice prices. The customer service was great, My sister and I was charring so many clothes at once I could barely move but a nice lady helped us and gave my sister and I a basket to carry our things in. Sadly, I don't remember her name, but she was a big help. Wish I could have looked around even more but sadly we came just an hour or so before they closed. But overall, I'd say this place is worth a visit!

Today the manager (woman on duty) was extremely rude to my mom, who simply asked about a basket that was on a 50% reduced table. Never again will I support Wagtails. If you don't want to work with the public maybe you should reconsider your occupation.

Bought a vacuum cleaner that was 'working', according to 2 staff members, without hoses. When I went to the vacuum supply guys to get a hose, they checked it and it didn't work. So I drove back and asked for a refund. The manager got rather angry when I asked for cash and issued me a credit note. She also argued with me about whether the machine was working, but didn't test it when I asked her to. So they have my money and I have to come back to exercise my credit note. Waste of time and petrol. Disappointed.

Marianna the Manager has no customer care at all! Not the most ideal person to work in a charity shop. All the other staff members there are great and efficient.
