We have been going to Kenvalley vet for many years, but I would like to share with you what sets them apart from the rest, and the reason is Stuart. He is an incredible person, compassionate, and genuinely only wants the best for his patients. He is thorough and will, in my experience, always go to extra lengths to get to the bottom of the issue and offer solutions. Thank you sincerely. I've used Kenvalley Vet for many years and always been happy with their compassionate treatment of my animals. I also think their staff are wonderful..especially Cassandra..who mans the reception desk. Always smiling, helpful,informative and able to multi task and get you on your way with speed. I've missed her while she's been on maternity leave and looking forward to having her back..hopefully soon. Plus she's also a huge animal lover..so important if you're working at a vet

I had been taking my dogs to this clinic for several years and trusted them with their care. Sadly, both of my dogs died while under this clinic’s care on separate occasions, almost two years apart. In my experience, serious clinical decisions were driven by convenience and staffing limitations rather than by what my dogs’ conditions clearly required. One dog was sent home in a fragile state after being treated symptomatically without proper diagnostics, stabilisation, or monitoring. He deteriorated immediately and died shortly thereafter. The other was kept at the clinic all day while critically unwell, with limited monitoring and delayed intervention, and ultimately died during surgery later that evening. Referral to an emergency or specialist facility was not offered in either case. What has been most distressing is not only the outcomes, but the lack of transparency and consistency afterwards. Key aspects of the care provided have been disputed, unclear, or appear to have changed after the fact, which has seriously undermined my trust in the clinic’s professionalism and integrity. I would strongly urge anyone considering this practice to ask very clear questions about diagnostics, monitoring, staffing, and referral options — especially if their pet is acutely unwell.

Our little Onyx was attacked by a feral cat on the Koppie! It was a nasty incident. Dr Last was very professional and handled this situation with such care and compassion.

On 12 September Dr Stuart came to my residence to assist my fur baby over the rainbow bridge. Not only was he compassionate and kind, he did not rush us to say our goodbyes. Thank you Dr Last for your kindness
