Rivonia Vet Practice

Lovely staff, and have really enjoyed our experiences there, but there has been multiple times where we get told a service would cost X amount, and then after it has been completed, we get told its actually double of what was originally said. We explicitly asked for the costs before doing anything so we know what to expect, so to then be charged double is a huge shock and upset. Will unfortunately not be returning anytime soon as I don't trust that this won't happen again. Other vets already ask 1/4th or 1/2 of what is asked here, so while I can say the staff is amazing, the cost is definitely not worth it, especially if the cost is not truthfully shared.

I would give this vet practice a 10/10. I brought in my senior cat who wasn't feeling well and all of the staff members from the receptionists, the men who held her crate for me inside to the vet and nurses. They were all just absolutely amazing and compassionate and super tender and loving towards my feline baby. Would definitely come back again (oh and their costs were really great as well). 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾❤️

The best vet practice in Joburg! Not only do they treat pets — and their owners — with such kindness and professionalism, but they also take the time to follow up in the days after treatment to make sure your pet is doing well. I’ve never experienced such incredible service. Their prices are honest and fair, and we highly recommend this place!

We have been bringing our dogs and cat here for years. Whether it’s an annual service or an emergency the pets always leave feeling better!! (And one even received a certificate of bravery for tolerating his bandages). Vets are very knowledgeable and are happy to share all the information you may need. Front of house staff are very friendly and helpful! 10/10

Have you ever seen a happier dog at the vet! She may just take off so fast was her little tail wagging!

What a caring and wonderful practice. Very thorough with my fur babies, they leave nothing to chance and every single person that is part of this highly professional team is friendly and extremely helpful. Their after appointment call back is unprecedented in this day and age and makes a huge difference. Thank you for your incredible kindness today. And for taking such great care of my fur babies. 🩷

The staff are simply amazing and just so wonderful with the animals. My girl Charlotte had a procedure done and Sr Shaye kept me updated throughout. Thank you Sr Shaye and Dr Anthea for looking after my baby so well!
