Reitzstraat Veeartse

The slogan "Care, compassion, and commitment to animals great and small" couldn’t be more fitting for the incredible service we’ve received from Dr Smith. Her kindness, empathy, and dedication have consistently shone through — especially in her care for our pet rats during their final days. In a small town with no exotic vet, Dr Smith stood out as someone who didn’t dismiss or minimise our concerns simply because it was "just a rat." While other veterinary practises and professionals around town smirked or brushed us off, she took us seriously and treated our pets with the same dignity and compassion one would hope for any animal. She went far beyond what we ever expected. When the time came for euthanasia, she even offered to come to our home to minimise stress for both us and our beloved pet. That level of care is rare. She has also assisted us with our dogs and cats with the same consistent professionalism, empathy, and thoughtful advice. Dr Smith treats each animal as if they were her own. Her approach is deeply personal — not the clinical, rushed feel you get from many high-turnover practices. If you’re looking for a vet who truly cares about the wellbeing of your animals — big or small — and who goes the extra mile with sincerity and skill, Dr Smith is the one to trust. We’re incredibly grateful for her. 💙🐱🐕🐁
