A massive thank you to the people at SPCA in Grahamstown. The love and devotion they show to their animals is exceptional. They allowed me to come meet the animals after hours and went above and beyond in helping me. Thanks to them, I have a beautiful cat in a loving home. I truly cannot recommend them enough. Adopt, don't shop!
If I could rate them zero I would. This SPCA has created so much pain and loss in my life. They allowed my dog that I had to rehome and she had a new home waiting for her, to escape her kennel and she has been missing for over a month. I never wanted her to be sent to the SPCA and this is exactly why. I know the people responsible will lose no sleep over this
Too terrible for words. You report a case of cruelty towards an animal, and because the receptionist won't believe it because she knows the perpetrator, she rejects everything you say. Thank you to Dr Annie for helping and for the advice. Shame on you SPCA.
These folks do a wonderful job. I adopted two cats and I’m very grateful to Janet for helping me chose cats who’d be happy with my dog. They know all the animals and really can find your perfect fit

What a thankless job this is to take care of abused, stray and vulnerable animals. This kennels here are well looked after as the animals can feel safe and secure. It is a joy to see folks volunteer here and walk the dogs on a daily basis.
In desperate need of funding, donations, anything you can spare - amazing staff who take such good care of the animals and who are great for advice re pet care! Successfully adopted two gorgeous dogs from them - Rocket (6 month old collie/retriever/africanus cross) and Lyla (3 month old border collie cross) 😍
