Thank you Sis Tina and Abuti Johannes, doctors and everyone that assisted me and saved my little Oreo. You guys are the best. For a non profit organization I expected public hospital type of treatment but you guys are just awesome. The clinic is clean the service is amazing, even the lady from crèche was so friendly to me and allowed me to park in their parking the first day I got there. God blesss you All.
I’m extremely disappointed with my experiences with Animals in Distress. Firstly, I phoned after spotting an animal wandering the streets of the aandals shopping area which is a short distance from their shelter. I was told they could not assist and that I should "phone back in a week" when they might have time, and was advised to rather contact the SPCA instead. For an organisation that claims to help animals in distress, this response was deeply concerning. Secondly, I contacted them via WhatsApp to enquire about inoculating my dog. I clearly explained that I am a student and that my dog is already sterilised, yet they refused to provide any pricing or even a basic estimate. Instead, I was repeatedly told to submit a three-month bank statement and proof of address before they would discuss costs. The manner in which this was demanded came across as rude and dismissive, especially after I had already explained my situation. Requiring personal financial documents just to receive a price estimate is unreasonable and unprofessional. I want to make it clear that my concern comes from a genuine place, as I deeply care about animal welfare and regularly support shelters through donations whenever I am able to. This experience was especially disappointing because I reached out in good faith, hoping to help and do the right thing for animals in need. I understand that shelters are under pressure, but poor communication, attitude, and lack of urgency in situations involving vulnerable animals is unacceptable. Based on my experiences, I would not recommend this organisation.
Let me say I cannot thank this team enough for all the patience for humans and love for animals. I am the biggest stress ball but they had so much patience with me. They knew exactly how to handle our anxious Princess. Affordable definitely. It's so organized and professional .
Had to leave my puppy there and it was put out. The vet lady was amazing. Super kind team but the receptionist male can be a bit too much he was not very pleasant to deal with
Such a big property for the animals, the staff are passionate about the animals and looking after them and ensuring they are kept safe and healthy,I did find out you can give donations that helps them feed and look after the animals.
I took my pet to be euthanised as she was ailing and not recovering from another vets medication, a Doctor Davis attended to her, he was a very sympathetic, professional, and very caring, I got charged a very reasonable amount, I found the experience satisfactory and would recommend them before any other vets, who I feel just take advantage of a sick animals disposition, and the owners fear of loss.
