I just want to thank My Pets Vet for the friendliest approach when we walked into the door. They are very gentle with the animals, explaining exactly what is wrong and how it will be treated. My dog spent the night after the operation and I received photos of my dog on how she looks and how she is doing, I do not know of any Vet who does that. I will recommend them to anyone. I cannot recommend this veterinary practice highly enough. Our Boston Terrier had to undergo the very difficult procedure of having an eye removed, and from start to finish we were treated with nothing but kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion. During his recovery, we received daily updates with photos, which gave us so much peace of mind and reassurance that he was comfortable and well cared for. The entire team is incredibly friendly and clearly has a deep love for the animals they look after. The doctor always gave honest, well-considered advice, focusing on the best possible outcome for our dog while also being mindful of costs. That balance of medical excellence, empathy, and transparency is truly appreciated. We are extremely grateful for the care our dog received and would trust them again without hesitation.

Monday 26 Jan 2026 I came home to my furr baby ice cold on the floor. My vet already closed and I was recommended to contact My Pets Vet. The friendly staff met me at my car, from the rime I stepped out, to the time I left, I felt save and cared for. They didn't frown once between all my tears and uncontrollable emotion. They helped made one of the worst days in my life more bearable. I would like to thank everyone for the friendly smiles and soft words, And for, when you removed my baby from my car, this was done with love and respect.. Thank you for reaching out the next day to see if I am okay. Thank you for the beautiful paw and nose print. It is very special. And thank you for arranging Lucia's cremation and that I can trust in you guys to ensure I get her ashes and are able to take her home. I left my baby behind with a heavy heart, but I knew, even after death, she was in the best hands.

I’ve been bringing my dogs to this vet for the past two years, and I couldn’t be more grateful for their care. My German Shepherd, who is now one year old, has been coming here since birth along with his littermates. I also brought my rescued Husky here when she needed her stitches removed. I wanted a professional to handle it, and they took such great care of her. They didn’t even charge me since it was just three stitches. That kindness made me certain this would be her forever vet, along with my German Shepherd. Whenever my pets need vaccinations, check-ups, or any kind of treatment, this is my one-stop place. Over the years, I’ve also had two older dogs who sadly passed away from old age, one year apart. When the time came, and they could no longer walk or eat, the staff helped us through the most difficult decision. They arranged a private farewell in the garden, with soft green grass, where we could hold our dogs as they peacefully crossed over. It was heartbreaking, but the staff treated us and our pets with such respect and compassion, giving us the time we needed to say goodbye. We chose cremation, and they guided us through the process with care. The staff here are truly amazing. They treat every animal with love, as if it were their own, and they make you feel that you and your pet are their top priority from the moment you walk in. I trust them completely, and I’m so thankful to have them in my community.

I just want to say thank you to my pets for their kind hearts. We had to put our dog Bella to sleep the 10/10/2025 and theyy were very compasionate. I couldnt ask for a better vet. They went out of there way to print a paw print and nose print of Bella so that she could ALWAYS be remebered. THANK YOU GOD BLESS YOU. I WOULD RECOMEND THEM TO ANYONE they are the best.

My Pets Vet goes above and beyond for their patients. They saved Mitsi by catching her kidney failure and treating her promptly. Dr Luzaan and her team are wonderful.

Phoned in for a consultation price around 18:13 (after coming home from work I noticed my cat wasn’t acting normal and seemed to have some discomfort/pain for unknown reasons as she is a house cat it was strange cause she doesn’t go out unless supervised ) 🐈 Was informed due to it being after hours it was R900 which I didn’t really have and I told them that but then decided it’s just money and I can try to claim it back from her insurance so we left and went for a consultation. Upon examination she was uncomfortable and wouldn’t let the Vet see much so Vet suggested light sedation so she can check and also mentioned she would do a rectal exam but if that doesn’t work we might need to take x-rays. Nowhere did anyone discuss prices with me, they just did whatever and slapped me with a R2990 bill after I told them I already didn’t really have a lot to begin with. If I was informed of the additional costs I could have said no! I am the customer so I don’t agree that I should have asked! I am already stressed with my cat being in pain now I have to ask you how much you are charging me apart from R900 - no that’s just not fair! Following day I requested the invoice I was promised would be in my WhatsApp early in the morning…I phoned after 11… Requested a Manager or Owner to phone me back and the Vet from the consultation phoned me. Very aggressive annoyed and hostile!! No customer care no openness for discussion just attacked me and deflected instead of listening and taking accountability!! At one point I was even shouted at that the R900 "consultation " was just for her to OPEN THE GATE FOR ME!! Imagine treating someone like that after ripping them off without permission without discussion prior to doing the work and then BLAMING THEM 💔 Absolutely flabbergasted that people treat their paying customers like this…. Try to be better and discuss pricing beforehand , it is not your right to do whatever you feel fit and slap someone with a massive bill without prior consent!!!! And if you can’t do that at least be nice when we phone and have a complaint because of something your place of business did!!! Oh and by the way my cat is still not ok and I don’t have that trust anymore to take her back to you, she has a vet but this was after hours and I couldn’t take her there but I promise I won’t ever take her back to you (I’m sure both parties involved are relieved to hear that) Other than that it was good service , neat and clean place, staff also very nice - would recommend to others but just make sure you ask about everything beforehand ☺️
