It’s become a cool spot for families to visit with a cafe and play area. Bummed they close at 3pm when ppl are only now getting off school and work. Most every time we want to go it’s already closed. It’d be cool if it stayed open until 5 or 6pm and even weekends. They’d prob make a ton more money & donations.
SPCA Richards Bay will always have a special place in my heart. We adopted our Doberman, Lexi, from the SPCA, and she has been such a blessing to our family ❤️ She still remembers the staff who took care of her, whenever we visit, she runs straight into their arms. The workers are always welcoming and kind, and you can truly see how much they care about the animals. They also offer a boarding area where you can safely leave your dogs while you’re on holiday, knowing they’ll be well looked after. I highly encourage people to adopt from the SPCA instead of buying pets from fancy stores. 🐾
We were searching for our kitten and couldn’t find it anywhere around town even posted on groups about it, tried to contact them multiple times but no answer, to later find out it’s been adopted by someone else. The lady at the office was extremely rude when we explained our situation on what happened and she shrugged us off and told us we should look for another kitten.
I’m highly disappointed. My kitten went missing and I kept checking the spca page looked around the area as well as posted on groups to find out that my kitten has been adopted and that they won’t give her back or let me pay for her . They also didn’t post that they got the kitten . All they said was shame sorry I should adopt another kitten . If only they knew how sentimental animals are to people . They showed 0 care.
Great place doing great work......please support
The local community need to get involved in their local spca to help the animals. Its alittle run down, dog kennels looked clean. We always support spca
My little pug has severe stress when it comes to new years fireworks. We have tried over several years medications etc from vets to get him to relax but nothing worked. We have followed advise to put him into boarding with his medications for the evening and he took it so well and they took extra care of him ❤️ the boarding side was so clean, and the animals well looked after
