It's always refreshing to come across a pet shop that truly cares about its customers. The staff were friendly, engaging, and asked questions about your setup to ensure that you were getting exactly what you needed for your pet. What stood out to you was the warm welcome you received from the moment you stepped inside the store. The staff were attentive and genuinely interested in helping you find what you were looking for. It's great to hear that the shop had the products you needed and that their stock is up-to-date. This shows that they are committed to providing their customers with high-quality pet care products. Overall, your experience at this pet shop was a positive one. The staff were friendly and helpful, and you felt welcomed from start to finish. It's always a pleasure to visit a store where the staff go above and beyond to ensure that their customers are well taken care of, and it feels like this shop is definitely one of those places.

Had the absolute worst experience TODAY 31/08/2024 with the sales staff at fairie glen branch. I walked in and had no problems, found what I needed and as soon as I paid for the items, the till lady handed me over the bag of items paid for. With the hand over between us over the counter a little open plastic container with dental bones in it was knocked over and it fell towards me on the floor as well as into the shelf. I said sorry seeing some of them have broken - A normal reaction towards an accident. She then proceeded to get the male assistant to grab a bag of chews on the rack. I thought nothing of it (for in my mind it wasnt my fault it fell because of her hand over towards me) Some of them fell into the rack/shelf infront of me because the container did not have a lid on it. (which I didnt notice but my partner watching on did, how many was in this open plastic container I am unsure of) and some had fallen on the floor. She then proceeded to tell me its gonna cost half of the packet( full packet price R208)... which in her words is R144 she told me - They tried counting then my partner showed them the ones in the rack between the dogtreats. She ended up charging me then R8 per broken unit... because in her mind I had broken them and it was more then half a packet... I was so taken back by then realizing some of them were in the shelf her price then decreased drastically when my partner pointed them out whilst trying to get a count number. The total ended up being R64. Its not the point of R64 rand which I paid. But her attitude was so insulting with the persistants that I should pay. As being a Animal ark Client and not fully my fault she made me feel that i was seen in the same light as a shoplifter. Worst of it all is the GENTLEMAN Assistant could have corrected her and told her as the client wasnt FULLY OR AT ALL AT fault with this accident that happend she should not have to pay for it. And with that she said when i paid oh i am so sorry ( cocky and rude) but my boss is so mean AND RUDE towards us with small mistakes like these... We would get into so much trouble and get shouted and screamed at! If you are the owners i will inform you the staff you have at this spesific branch will end up making you loose alot of business because of their attitude and how they treat clients. FOR A ANIMAL LOVER THAT HAS THE MEANS TO SPEND AND ENJOY SUPPORTING A SMALLER BUSSINESS WHEN IT COMES TO MY 5 FURBABIES I WILL NEVER SUPPORT That branch AGAIN!

My first time visiting this pet shop. The store staff welcome you, get to know your pets and their requirements and then advise you on the different food options to suit your pet and your pocket. The shop has a variety of food brands, treats, gear and accessories for many different types of pets. Hedgehogs, mice/hamsters, dogs, cats, fish and birds etc. I would definitely recommend that you visit this store atleast once. You may just love it and go back frequently! The shop is situated in a small centre that has an italian restaurant, a bread king and more convenient stores.

The Ark Pet Shop opened earlier this year in the Faerie Dale shopping centre. I popped in yesterday for the first time. They have an excellent variety of foods, care products, toys and much more. The store is neat and inviting with friendly staff ready to assist.

Sir, your version of what happened at your store yesterday is a blatant lie and the centre security will confirm that. I have only been in your store twice. Centre security was only involved once. This is not "numerous" as you suggest. At no stage did I pose a physical threat to anyone in your store. I spoke to centre security yesterday and they undertook to report you and your store to centre management. At no stage did they suggest to me that I was at fault as you are claiming. I am not asking you to pay for me. I am asking you to stop lying and to start obeying the law in the interest of the safety of your customers. Please state for the record which other shops in the centre have a problem with me. You know as well as I do that no one else at this centre has any problem with me. This is yet another blatant lie.

Absolutely amazing and friendly stuff.. you can see the employees and owners are interested in your animals concerns or what you actually need for your pet instead of just making a sale. Prices are much cheaper Highly recommended 🎖

There are so many pet shops but this one is so my favourite! They give friendly service, are helpful and always have specials on toys for my furry children 💕
