Very friendly and helpful staff around every turn. Everyone on point. Excellent service. I highly recommend this store. Lots of free parking outside, wheelchair and child friendly. A wide variety of products and an impressive compliment of cashiers.
Poor Management Handling I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the service I received at your store. I was informed by one of your managers, Petunia, that there was a promotion where I could buy two 6-packs for R99 each and receive the third pack free of footy's coldrink she said it in front of the people working at the information counter. Based on this information, I proceeded to stand in the long queue, only to be told at the till that the promotion was not valid. This was not only frustrating but also embarrassing, as it made it appear as though I had misunderstood or was attempting to claim a special that did not exist. When I asked for clarification and requested to speak to the manager who had given me the information, I was told she was suddenly on lunch. Another manager was called, but instead of resolving the matter professionally, I was simply told again that there was no such special. It is extremely disappointing that management staff are not aligned or properly informed about promotions in the store. Customers should not have to waste their time standing in queues only to be embarrassed at the checkout due to internal miscommunication. I believe better communication and product knowledge among managers is essential. I would appreciate feedback on how this situation will be addressed to prevent similar incidents in the future. It's actually Dischem I have a problem with. None of the stores in the vicinity of Castle Gate have size L Molicare pull on adult nappies with an 8 absorbance rating. This since before Christmas. This size is consistently out of stock at Dischem Castle Gate. It is obviously the most sought after size. How does Dischem monitor purchases? And stock more of the fast moving items?
I visited Dischem Jean Avenue feeling unwell with my doctor’s electronic prescription. After patiently waiting my turn, I was informed that I needed to send my prescription via WhatsApp. What frustrated me was being sent back to wait in line again just to send a message. It takes less than 20 seconds to send a WhatsApp, so it felt unnecessary to go through the line process again. After waiting another 10 minutes without assistance, I ultimately decided to leave. The dismissive attitude of the staff added to my disappointment. I hope Dischem can improve how they handle these situations, as patients deserve better treatment when they’re not feeling well.
The staff is always ready to go an extra mile in helping the customers. Thank you so much @MasekwaMongwai for being patient with me when I had a problem with my voucher. She assisted me and telling me that I'm not going anywhere until I'm sorted. Indeed she is a blessing to the store

I've been a loyal customer of Dischem Pharmacy Jean Crossinh for over 6 years. After moving to Johannesburg 3 months ago, I've been disappointed with the other Dischem branches I've visited. None have matched the excellent service I experienced at Jean Crossing. Sometime I even considered taking that long drive all the way back just because I haven't found a comparable pharmacy this side of town. Sad to say, but Jean Crossing sets the bar high! Keep up the great work 👏
