I was there recently looking for turkey. One of the staff members was assisting me, very helpful I must say. But as this man was assisting me, the manager came out very rudely as if I was their to ask fir free handout, I don't want to play the race card, but his words were " help the other customer, he is wasting you time. ' Forgetting that some customers are fluent in Afrikaans

I guess the posts about not being the most honest operator are not exaggerated, and I only checked after a rather uncomfortable bending of the truth and a certain staff member taking offense at being called out on it. For reference I checked the scale against other weighted items and it is correct. Pity I drove 25km on a recommendation....

Very dodgy! They weigh the meat then dissappear to wrap it. While the man was busy weighing the meat I checked the kilos. But got home and weighed again and it was not the same weight. Those guys probably think we are dumb!!! As a first time customer I would NOT recommend this place. Deserves 000000 ratings

Never again. Not a regular customer nor will I ever be. Not fit for human consumption. These unchewable pieces came out of 2 small pieces of boerewors. A year later, thought I'd try again to see if things have improved. Big mistake. Bone, cartilage, skin, who knows what else. Won't buy anything there ever again.

One of the better butchers around. Love the variety and always stocked with fresh produce. Comoaritve and market related priced. Service is great but expect it to be busy and that you'll probably won't be served immediately but great butchers always have advice and suggestions
