Cat Box Pet Hyper - Alberton

Staff are always friendly & when I come the one gentleman knows what I need & actually waits at the till for me.... I will go out of my way to go to this store.

Staff are awesome, shop prices are a lot cheaper than at other retailers

Compared to other retailers as well as online stores like takealot etc,cat box pet hyper are much more cheaper and offer a wider variety,my gf always gets her cat litter,cat wet food pouch and other items from this store,staff are very friendly and also super helpful,top notch customer service everytime we go there,I definitely reccomend this store if you someone that also looks at buying the big 25kg and upwards bags of chunks for your pets,they have a wide variety of flavours at good solid prices,as well as other items like beds or play items.

Beware of specials they have. You walk in to the shop, go to pay the special that is written on the item itself just to be told they made a mistake and you cannot have the item at the price they advertised. Walked out not buying anything if customers are treated like that.

I have shopped at the CatBox for years for bird food. Nice friendly staff, good quality food. However the last batch of mixed fowl seed was dreadful. Full of big thick straw pieces and worst of all prickly burrs. I threw most of it away. awful quality. not edible for the birds. I had 5 bags of 10kgs. I spoke to Palesa this morning and have taken a sample of it in to the Bracken shop this morning for the manager to see. Waste of money, I should have taken it back. Usually I would put a 5 star rating. I had to buy mixfowl this morning but thoroughly checked it first. Aside from getting good reviews which I give, I do think then you should be aware when things are not right.
