George Hay Park

Recently visited George Hay Park in Randburg and had a lovely time! The park is quite peaceful and perfect for a relaxing day out. However, I do want to give a heads up that it's a dog-friendly area, and there were many furry friends around. The dogs seemed well-trained and friendly, but if you're not a dog lover, you might want to consider that before visiting. The park is also great for picnics, families, with swings and a play area for kids to enjoy. I appreciated the clean bathroom facilities, which was a bonus! I ended up spending almost the whole day there, it was that enjoyable! Overall, it is a great spot for nature lovers, families, and those who enjoy being outdoors.

Great little park with loo facilities, outdoor gym equipment, and playground. Great for walking dogs.

Such a lovely park and a warm heart in the middle of Parkview. Great for local events, playing with the kids, doggies and a relaxed afternoon. Our favourites are the slides and the little 'tree house' area in the back - great for imaginary play.

The park is clean with plenty swings where kids can play and relax. The toilet facilities are clean and there's plenty trees for relaxing under shade

George Hay Park is a wonderful gem in Parkview. It's a really nice well maintained and clean park. The residents have gone out their way to make this a welcoming park to all. I really enjoyed this park as a child and still do as an adult.
