Aquarium

Really small aquarium, a outdoor section and an indoor section with fish tanks. Definitely the outdoor section was my favourite that has seals, penguins, turtles and a pelican. The best time to visit is the feeding times, the workers feed each of them and allow you to throw some fish of your own too by the penguins. There's also a family of cute stray cats living there but they're not used to humans so they will run away. Also the prices are very reasonable so go check them out.

I want to give it 2 stars but I dont think it deserves it. The level of care for the animals is very minimal and very misleading. Animals are in tight enclosures with little to no change to the environments. It has so much potential. It just needs someone to care

The place is run down. It could do with some renos and sprucing up. Fun for kids though if youre taking kids. Not a lot of sea life to see.

Place has so much potential. My kids enjoyed it. Feeding times are 11:30&15:30.

The worst and overpriced place I have ever visited. The aquarium is very small with a limited number of marine species. Some of the viewing areas were closed for maintenance and seemed rather unsafe and uncared for. Waste of time for a family outing! Avoid the bathrooms, just do not go there.

I love the aquarium and with very few resources they are really trying to keep this place going. They really need your support, so please next time you're in East London, please go through to the aquarium and support them

The place is okay it did not wow me maybe my expectations were high. Entrance fee for adults is R70
