Stodels Garden Centre - Bellville

Great for family outings. Kids play area, petting zoo and cafe are amazing. Worth the drive just for that. And then the stodels store is impressive too. The store is huge and well stocked from what I looked at. Lots on offer here.

Great family-friendly spot with beautiful plants, a lovely play area for kids, and even animals to feed. Perfect for a day out or a birthday party. Food is decent, but the gardens and atmosphere are the real highlight! The kids loved the animals and the reptile section. A beautiful day surrounded by nature's beauty.

What a peaceful place to escape.. This nursery has an impressive variety of healthy, vibrant plants – everything is beautifully cared for and a joy to browse through. The lovely little restaurant is an absolute highlight. Our all-time favourite is the chocolate brownie with ice cream, paired perfectly with a cappuccino – the perfect treat after strolling through the nursery. It’s also convenient that they stock a range of pet supplies, making it a great all-in-one stop. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and very helpful, and with plenty of parking, visiting is hassle-free. A warm, inviting nursery with something for everyone – highly recommended!

Whenever the boys and I feel like getting out of the house, but we don’t want to travel too far or spend too much money we visit Stodles. Walking through the nursery and visiting the animals is such a lovely experience and soothes the soul after a hard week at work.

Excellent nursery with passionate, helpful staff Stodels Bellville is an absolute pleasure to visit. The staff are consistently helpful, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do — it makes choosing plants so much easier and far more enjoyable. One feature I especially appreciate is their plant guarantee, which is quite unique for a nursery and shows real confidence in the quality of their plants. It gives such peace of mind when investing in your garden. Beautiful variety, great service, and exceptional customer care. Highly recommended!

I always enjoy Stodels! The staff are great, but I’m honestly disappointed with the member "thank you" plant. As a member I spend hundreds, but this is the second time I’ve been offered only dry, old-looking options to choose from. The gesture is appreciated, but the quality really doesn’t reflect the loyalty you’re trying to reward. I hope this can be improved.
