Builders Express Bethlehem

My experience at this store has always been very positive, with friendly staff who helped me! The store is beautiful and neat. I have visited them a number of times over the past months and always found what I needed. The store is cleaner and neater than some of the other hardware stores in town.

Everything you need for home and garden. Friendly staff, neat and tidy shop. Items easy to find. Some items price tags missing though.

Today was the first time I entered Builders Express. What a disappointment! I asked 3 employees of which none could be available to help me. You should try stocking up on more staff with ample knowledge of what goes on in the store. Needles to say I left empty handed and disappointed.

Your staff just looked at me when they walked past me and just kept on chatting. When I showed them on your website what I want they did not have a clue where to find it. The guy they called for help never pitched. This kind of service works in Jhb and Bloem but not in Bethlehem

Every visit to builders the service was non existent. Today was just the last nail in the coffin to make sure we won’t be going back there… Staff members saw us struggling with the search of lights but were too busy to chat to each other rather than assist, only when raising a voice complaining about how they are no help, they tried to assist, but really only doing what we did, so no help at all! After asking for the manager, she came from somewhere still busy on her cellphone, and did little to assist or to reassure that they will do better! Its as if the staff laughs it off knowing their bad service will have no consequences.

No one assisted me, had to load items myself. After the 3rd item, the staff member decided to finish chatting to his fellow staff member and decided to come and help. Since i was the only customer at the outdoor section, i thought service would be better. I am giving 2 star rating due to the fact that the plants i bought are beautiful. I will buy it again. It would have been 5stars if the service was up to standard!

Friendly helpful staff. Always willing to go the extra mile. Thank you
