If you headed to Ushaka, this place is a bonus inside the park. Its a separate entrance charge but worth it to see such a plethora of snakes... you can also view lizards, spiders, frogs. There are exciting surprises in store when you visit😉 but it is a really educational and worthwhile visit guys.... give it a show🐸🦎🐍🐢🙂
There are Loads of snakes, reptiles, and spiders. Even small crocodiles and frogs. There are fun scare props that are great and they are well looked after and beautiful. Defnitly worth going to.
It's quite a small but absolutely packed(in a good way) all the animals look to have enough space and often there were pairs in each enclosure. We were lucky enough to see one of the snakes yawning. Would definitely recommend coming here if you like reptiles.
The kind of magic you have to see, to believe.♥️ Feast your eyes on the incredible dangerous creatures at uShaka Marine, located in the village walk.🦈🇿🇦 I think it should be called dangerous snakes 🐍 because there's more snakes then any other creature 🤣😅 but still amazing. I loved the experience and seeing all these creatures in such healthy conditions makes me so so happy. 🙏 Truly an experience of a life time, and I got to see😱, arguably, Durban's biggest snake😅🐍 also... I'm afraid of snakes😱😅 but this was a very cool experience and will definitely go again.🐍🙏
I had an amazing your guide, she really made it a special experience. The snakes are absolutely beautiful, healthy and very relaxed. The venue is quite small, cutely themed and makes a great learning experience for adults and kids alike. Conpletely disgusted after being taught that certain snakes there are endangered or bred just to be skinned alive to keep the integrity of designer handbags. Overall it's great and worthwhile. If you decide not to learn anything, at very least you will get great selfies with our slithery friends. Alas, none are available to touch or hold..
The fascinating world of Dangerous Creatures offers you the opportunity to enter the world of these misunderstood animals. The reptile & amphibian enclosures mimic the animals normal environment perfectly. Each enclosure has an information sign fill you in on all the fun facts about these creatures. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and willing to answer any questions you have. Entrance is extremely reasonable and definitely worth a visit for both Durbanites and visitors.
LETHU welcomed us in very professional manner and it was a pleasure to have us as our host during our tour. She is very informative and answered all the questions we had. A good place to visit when you in durban
