I was so disturbed by the woman who runs the spca ( I believe ) she was rude, she doesn't return calls or messages and told me straight to sort out my own problem as it's not hers - to spay rescues, I do not expect to pay nothing but at least it will be more affordable. I feel that someone who takes care of animals should be more kind to people who are like minded in helping take care of the homeless and needy animals. 😢

Contacted to adopt a pup but got the rudest response. It was like there was no interest from their side that somebody wants to adopt and then also the annoyance when communicating with them. The worst part is that they want to charge me the same price for a dog I'd pay at a breeder...seriously if I wanted to pay that much I'd go to a breeder rather adopting a dog that is in more need of a home. Comple unprofessional and it seems like the animals are used to get people to donate and then that money is used to live comfortably instead to fully assist the rescued animals, rather stick with SPCA or Save a pet than this place.

A very unpleasant experience with the lady in charge of adoptions. I sent Multiple emails, calls and whatsapp with no replies. The responses I did get did, were erratic and did not make sense. I finally enquired to the lack of response and recieved a very rude message to say my application has been denied on very strange grounds. On follow-up to clarify some of the incorrect asumptions her response was outright rude, unprofessional and insulting. When I enquired why she hadn't looked through my application properly  or requested more info - the response was 'they simply dont have time to follow up' and 'they can't read minds'. This is a very strange and unprofessional resposne from an NGO. Very sad this organization is treating people looking to get involved, donate and support with such hostility. Such a strange and unpleasnt eperience.

My husband and I excitedly visited Odin and were impressed by the amount of dogs being cared for. On meeting one of the women in charge, arrangements were made to meet a pup suggested by her. Long story short, met the pup and completed the the application. Few days later I enquired about the application, but no response. Waited and messaged after a week where she responded by saying that she doesn't know who I or my husband were, even though we had a good and long conversation on first meeting, also acknowledging my neighbors who adopted from Odin. I told my neighbor about the issue, she kindly contacted one of the women and knew exactly who we were. Terrible service, communication and can't help to feel discriminated.

Tried multiple times with various dogs to adopt and they always make up excuses why a dog cannot be adopted. When you say you like a certain dog they judge you because you like one dog more than another. They never respond to messages. They hit the dogs with brooms and the number of dogs there just gets more everytime I visit. I've talked to many other people all with the same experience. No one I know has been able to adopt from them and it seems they don't want anyone to adopt the dogs. Yet they are very eager to accept donations that from what I can see never ends up being used for the dogs there. If you want to adopt a dog go to the spca in George, they are very helpful there and actually care for the dogs and cats.

Something is off with these people. They will find an excuse why you are not suitable. We have tried twice to adopt a pet in need. The lady just says. No the dog barks a lot it wont work.
