The Vineyard Country House deserves more than 5 stars! This oasis in the heart of Montagu ticks all the boxes and more! The grounds, the rooms and the hospitality is second to none and you literally feel relaxed as soon as you walk through the gate.Our room was clean,inviting and comfortable providing everything we needed from a comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, guest robes to relax in and a coffee machine. We also had a an outdoor area that featured a day bed and outdoor shower. The pool area is so inviting, you can literally loose a couple of hours enjoying the sun amongst the vines. The great location means you can literally walk to some of Montegu's best restaurants for lunch or dinner and you also get to enjoy a excellent breakfast onsite each morning. Breakfast was delicious! Fresh and tasty food served in a beautiful setting was a great start to our day ! Estelle and her staff provide the best in customer service and we felt very welcomed and at home. Highly recommend a stay at this beautiful place
Absolutely fantastic guest house. We enjoyed our stay so much. Everything was lovely, spotlessly clean, and every detail had clearly been thought through. The breakfast was amazing, bed super comfortable and above all the owner was incredibly caring. We recommend it 120%!
We spent a weekend at The Vineyard Country House and had a truly wonderful experience. The location is perfect — within walking distance of town. Estelle and her team were incredibly welcoming, and we felt right at home. Each morning, we enjoyed a delicious, thoughtfully prepared breakfast, and the service throughout our stay was excellent. We highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Recently stayed here for a night with my wife and kids. Our first time in Montagu. This hotel is amazingly well kept, pristine location in Montagu with the best views of the Langeberg mountains. Estelle and Tim are amazing hosts, and the breakfast is probably the best we've ever had. We will definitely be back soon!
What a magical getaway! This place is absolutely stunning—peaceful, beautifully decorated, and with a view that takes your breath away. It has all the cozy comforts of home, but with a special touch that makes it feel extra luxurious. We felt so relaxed and truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. A huge thank you for such a wonderful experience! We’re already looking forward to coming back—next time we’re definitely hitting those hiking trails!
A friendly, well located guest house in a good part of town. The breakfasts are very good.
