I enjoyed my time at exotic world. Yes, it does seem a bit run down but there are various animals to see like different birds, lemma that are roaming free, turtles, snakes and spiders. There are guinea bigs, rabbits, owl 🦉. There was piranha which was cool to see. It's wheelchair friendly and the food was not bad at all.
Had my family out to this spot, had an awesome time so much cool and interesting animals to see. The restaurant was great the food and service from the staff was excellent 👌I would recommend this place for sure. I will return again 😊
We haven’t been in a long time, and unfortunately it’s become so run down. I’m sure it’s due to funding issues. It’s sad to see such a beautiful place become so run down. The food at the coffee shop was delicious, and quick, and the service friendly. So it’s worth a visit just for a meal, maybe if more people go then they can start making improvements and upgrades again. It’s a good cause taking care of the animals.
We visited the Exotic Animal World with a few adults and 6 kids ranging from 2 years to 11 years. I have not been to the venue in many years as the last time I visited I was a kid. There is so much to see and all the animals are well looked after. Kids and adults enjoyed themselves seeing animals and all the sights. It was a really fun few hours. The Venue is easy to find as it is just off the main highway. The setting is tranquil and the animals are amazing. The staff are very friendly as well. We are so glad we chose this activity and we will be back again. Please support this venture so that many more generations to come can benefit from it. A really fun and educational experience for all ages.
thank you for such a nice atmosphere and service! very nice place, nice more than nice! ideal place to go with children! today is international women's day so I decided to spend it with you, thank you for making this day so great! I really enjoyed it with you! good luck to your whole team! and greetings from a distant Latvian client.
So, the reason why it was previously called butterfly Workd was because they had butterflies. Now they don't. That said a great place to take the kids espthe little ones. Took a 2 year old there and we had a great time looking at the exhibits. The displays are great and at a low hight so smaller children can see them standing or in a pushchair and the parrots making their calls. The open air enclosures are great with animals all around and lemurs jumping on the pushchair and making the children so excited. On another note the restaurant was great with some nice food choices and the gift shop was full of the unusual like plastic spiders, soft toys like colourful parrots and the odd dinosaur for good measure. All reasonably prices as was the restaurant. I was also pleasantly surprised at the very low entrance fee of R79 and will make a point to go again. The kids had so much fun and within a mile from leaving were fast asleep in the car. Job done for a grandad and the kids. No pictures as I'm not allowed to post pictures of the grandkids.
Fun learning experience for both adults and kids. Real exotic feel of animals in their habitat.
