Game Cape Gate

I was just here to buy a laptop . The man working in the section was very friendly and helpful. The manager lady in the laptop section told me sorry the laptop i would like to buy is out of stock and she cant help me with when there will be stock. I asked her if it might be possible to put up a sign to say that only display item available out of stock otherwise or maybe to not have items on display that they cannot provide. She was extremely irritated and walked away while I was still talking . 9 March 10am. Very very very disappointed in such horrible attitude .

A very bad place to go. The manager and staff is really unpleasant to work with. Don't take you seriously or even is 4 times was called for the manager and any staff in the area. They think that you are someone who is stupid and they just want to rub off their new credit card on you. Even if you didn't say yes. They argue then about prices and no one knows. The drive is the worth to a different game

Went to purchase a air-conditioner valued at a couple thousand rand. First, the staff stand around on their cellphones not checking if customers require assistance. Eventually I asked someone to assist us nevertheless, the staff member had absolutely no product knowledge and proceeded to ask another staff member. They got side tracked and left us standing in the isle for approximately 7 minutes. Upon leaving the store I asked to see the manager and was directed to a "Supervisor" who stood there yawning not looking particularly interested in being there. For a multi-million business this behavior is absolutely shocking. The original Game stores operated efficiently, effectively and with the customer in mind, this newish setup is disgraceful and unapologetically pathetic.

We bought electronic appliances at game . Delivery waiting time is 3 to 5 business days . On the 4th day we still didn’t received anything. We called , the line kept ringing and ringing, the people working at game Cape Gate gives me a clear view that communication in that work place is poor . Miscommunication between them because every time we called every person who gives feedback tells us a different story . One of our items which we got for free was delivered today ( 06/12/2025) but the important items we need has not been delivered because their is always an issue . This type of service is unacceptable and poor. GAME CAPE GATE should upgrade their staff and delivery service because it is disappointing, poorly , execrable and substandard.

In the past I had a few very disappointing experiences when shopping for TV's and other appliances at Game Cape Gate. This morning I accompanied my 85 year old friend to purchase a Hisense QLED TV that was on a weekend special price. From the moment we entered the TV department we were treated like VIP's by Mizaan and Sive. * Never ever did I experienced this excellent service at any other retailer when I bought a TV or white appliances before. * They opened the box - took out the TV and tested it - to ensure us that it is in perfect working order. * Then Sive showed us on a demo model how to do the basic setup in order to make it easier for us to do the setup on the new TV at home * Sive also dit the online registration for us. * Then Sive offered to take the TV to our car and assisted us with the loading. Mizaan and Sive you were the stars today. You pleasantly surprised us with your positive attitude, product knowledge, and friendliness. Keep on doing what you're doing you are valuable assets for Game.

I am so deeply disappointed in Game Cape Gate. We purchased a pool table which took forever to deliver. When it was eventually delivered it was broken, and now I am waiting forever for them to communicate when the new pool table will be delivered. I have been calling multiple times yet there is no proper communication regarding the order(broken and new one)

Customers be aware if you want to buy the lotto cashup is already done by 19:30. You would need to come in by latest 19:00 to insure a purchase is made.
