Easy walk, which is beautiful throughout the seasons. Ideal for young and old and a great place to walk your dogs. Feel totally safe walking here, even on my own. Even though dogs are supposed to be kept on leashes, as per the sign at the start of the walk, most dogs run around freely, which for well socialized dogs, is great. Pity that majority of dog owners don't pick up after their pooches.
Accessible and great fun for young or furbabies. There is usually water in the river which all adds to the beauty. A gorgeous green lung in the middle of suburbia. Beware the horses if your dog is curious.

The Alphen trail is one of the most beautiful walks in Cape Town. This is dog friendly walk.
Fantastic trail to walk and/or run. If you don't like dogs, you should probably not walk here.
Amazing place to walk dogs or have a picknick. There is also a scenic parkrun every Saturday morning at 8am
