Riverside Mall

A thoroughly enjoyable shopping experience. The mall is intelligently laid out, making it easy to move between stores without feeling crowded or overwhelmed. The design feels modern and well-planned, with a great mix of retailers. The overall cleanliness and upkeep are clearly a priority, which adds to the comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Definitely a centre that takes pride in its presentation and shopper experience.

Plenty of parking, 30min free. Nice selection of stores from grocery, clothing, dry cleaning, pets, art supplies and everything in between between. There isn't a pharmacy inside the mall, but its available across the road. Great mall for everyday living without the need to go to a bigger mall.

Riverside Mall should be described as a boutique mall because while it has many speciality stores, it still feels a bit empty and somewhat exclusive. While Checkers is clearly the main tenant, the entire mall feels like on unit and it’s pretty easy to navigate the various stores. There are two levels though Checkers and Spur essentially take up the entire top level. But the overall feel isn’t crowded. There are neat bathrooms and you can see that it’s kept clean on a regular basis. The most difficult thing about this mall is that the parking is very tight and you often have to rely on the kindness of strangers to navigate the covered parking. On the plus side though, parking was free on Sunday so maybe that makes up for it.

I went to DANNEBERG glasses optometrists for an appointment and was immediately helped by friendly staff who went out of their way to serve me. I am very pleased with all of them for their advice and assistance, very forthcoming and the price was excellent 👌👍 🤓all round Very well pleased and Satisfied. Will stay with them for life.

The worst parts about this mall are possibly the chaotic parking and grumpy PnP cashiers. 0-30mins is R5. But if you park for less than 5 mins to drop of laundry, you are confronted with a luminous official waiting to process your R5 for the goverment funds. If you do stay longer than 5mins to get your groceries, Woolies Food, as poorly stocked as it was, is now gone. A cashier told me they're a 24hr shop which gave me some compassion for their rudeness to other shoppers around me. I can't recommend this mall at all.

A nice small friendly centre.a pity that the toilets are always dirty, no toilet paper and the water does not work? So dissapointing and a big let down. Hopefully this will be addressed sooner, than later.

It's just a quite place good for going out for lunch or dinner with a friend.
