Solid Ground

We celebrated my mother’s birthday at Solid Ground and it was an absolutely beautiful experience from start to finish. The peaceful atmosphere, thoughtful details, and Christ-centered environment made the day so special. We enjoyed the fun and challenging putt-putt course — inspired by the Fruit of the Spirit, which we truly loved! The kids had a blast at the play park, and the Bible Walk was a refreshing and uplifting experience. We had a lovely picnic under the trees and enjoyed a braai — everything was clean, well-equipped, and just perfect for a family outing. The little touches of decor and the dedication to Jesus Christ throughout the grounds made it feel even more meaningful. Booking and communication were seamless and friendly, which made the whole process stress-free. We’ll definitely be back soon. Thank you, Solid Ground, for a day filled with joy, laughter, and love!

We recently hosted our youth year-end function here, and it could not have been more perfect! The peaceful atmosphere and stunning natural surroundings created the ideal space for everyone to unwind and truly connect. There’s something incredibly special about stepping away from the busyness of life and enjoying quality time outdoors, and this park offered exactly that. The beautiful scenery made every moment memorable — from quiet conversations to fun shared activities. Our youth left feeling refreshed, encouraged, and more connected than ever. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy nature and create meaningful memories together. We’ll definitely be back!

Plenty to see, do, and chill in a largely natural grassy highveld and rocky hillock ("koppie") with an interesting history, along with basic amenities for mobile day-trippers of all ages

Such a beautiful and peaceful place to visit! The rocky landscape is absolutely stunning, full of character and natural beauty. We loved exploring the different paths, and the cross set high on the rocks was such a special and moving sight. It’s a gentle reminder of hope and faith in the middle of nature. Grateful for places like this that stir both the soul and the senses.

We had an amazing time and absolutely loved the Bible project! Walking there felt like a breath of fresh air—exactly what we needed.

We had a big community braai at Solid Ground. It was so much fun for all of us. To be in nature, explore the Bible in a whole new way was really memorable. We will definitely visit again.

Beautiful and serene place to spend time with your family. The sunrise signifies the beginning, and it’s only going to get better!
