Magalies MTB & Hiking Trail

It's a great hiking spot, overviewing the city well, issue with it there is no clear making on the trails. Would not recommend it for a solo hike, best for group hikes. Free entry as well which is great. Well kept and clean. Two entry points to the trails

Just completed the Magaliesberg hike in Pretoria and WOW 😍! The views are BREATHTAKING 🌳🏞️. The trail's got a nice mix of challenging climbs and chill stretches, perfect for a solid workout with epic scenery. Did it with friends and we were all grinning from ear to ear 🚶‍♂️💨. Not well maintained. Routes are not clear. Some of our members got lost, entered at John Vorster and exited at Wonderboom, then they had to catch a taxi.

Great views, with wonderfully maintained trails. Highly recommended for friends and family. From the car park there is a memorial for Justine Carrie (1994 - 2021). Sad to see, but the views overlooking Pretoria make it worth a visit.

Beautiful trail. Not too challenging but good when you know your strength. Bring enough water. Trail has Beautiful scenery and good views. I like this trail. It's a pity that it's not taken care of but it's mostly clean Bear in mind the trail is not marked but otherwise is good place to be.. It's safe It's just need the City to take care of it. I love this trail

Love this hike. Its quite. Its for free and beautiful. You can choose your distance you want to hike. Clear map at the entrance of 30th ave. Beautiful place to watch the sun rise or sunset. Close to our homes. Clean. Please keep it this way.

Easy walking mostly and no complicated climbs. Moderately fit and even unfit people can walk the routes, which are fairly neat. Good panoramic views in almost all directions, offering views on the Pretoria city centre, good views also over the northern parts of Pretoria. The route is used by people, with dogs mostly on leash and there are routes for horses and mountain bikes.
