My cat was struggling to urinate and I dreaded having to get her to a vet as she's extremely difficult. I had to take her on a Monday morning as soon as I managed to get her into the carrier. We'd never been to Protea Vet before, so I was unsure how we would be received without an appointment. My concerns were unnecessary, as we were warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived at reception and I explained the situation. Dr Analize never batted an eyelid at the hissing and handled my baby with utmost care and skill and was an attentive listener. She assured me that my cat would feel better by the following day after the injections, which she did and is well on the mend. I left there with a heart full of gratitude and pray that this practice will go from strength to strength.
Can’t say thank you enough to Dr Michelle & the awesome team. She is the most caring, gentle vet - I always feel safe when my dogs are in her care. She has spayed/neutered both my dogs and we had an incredible experience with her. Couldn’t recommend anyone else 😍🥰
Best staff, Best service, Healthy pets, Thats all we can ask for, honestly one of my favourite Animal Clinics, I drive out 30km just to come here with my pets.
Wonderful team at Proteavet! I really appreciate that the cats and dogs sections are separated - helped to keep my cat less stressed. Analise was fantastic - not an easy diagnosis, so she thoroughly checked. Sent home with meds and kitty made a full recovery 😃 Highly recommend - your fur babies will be in safe hands.
It’s a great fit with great service… They really looked after us there with the dog that needed an up and he’s very old… Honestly excellent on every level
I wish i could give 10 stars! My kitty has been given back to me alive and well after a huge trauma, so much time concern and effort was put into her recovery, speaks volumes for the compassion dedication and determination of this very special clinic. Our family is forever grateful 🌹😇😇🦋💙
I've tried a number of other vets in the area being new to Cape Town and wasn't impressed. Then I found Proteavet and I'm thrilled!! Best experience with Michelle and all the staff
