After reveing a really horrible waiting experience we were finally assisted. On the 2nd entry my partner was assisted much quicker and one of the nurses actually helped save our baby so thank you to Algoa Park Clinic or actually that nurse she's awesome
Today I went to the Clinic, I met sister Kim her manarism was so bad, on the 9th of Jan, I went back as it was my date to get blood results, upon arrival I was told there’s only one sister helping, got medication for one month, went back today for Meds , she just rebooked for other date, she didn’t care if I have medication or not ,she just dismissed me, wow what an attitude for health professionals, now I must ask for extra day off and spend on transportation
People are slow yoh and yesterday I went with my auntie then when my auntie had to get her medicine. (they said they are going to help us if my auntie got her medicine) then we went to show the sister so we can get the medicine and when we came back then we waited for 20 minutes and then the sister also went outside and was just on the phone not helping us or the other people. Real bad I recommend not to come there.
Went there seeking for medical assistance, I was chased away. The nurse said they are understaffed, they only have two nurses and can only assist children and pensioners. I felt like my right to health care was violated. Such poor management.
Although service are slow in the beginning it speeds up after your name had been called. Personal are friendly and helpfull. During teatime soup and bread are handed out free of charge. There are still a few hiccups are overall good service.
Crowded, but safe. I went to enquire about a family members transfer letter to Provincial Hospital. The sister who heled me was very firm at first, but lightened up after a bit.
Is no longer the same clinic now, they r Always changing staff n they are so lazy unlike before ,now people go back home without meds ,am one of those people went home without meds , sometimes you r in ARV,s they would tell you ,that they have no meds n they don't promise even when to get them again.they r also late comers .they depend on security guard to open their gate ,they don't mind whether whether its 8am or past 8hoo ,no apologies after that
