Ka-Ma Lodge & Restaurant

Nice accomodation and very friendly manager. Assisted me in fixing car indicator by reffering me to local auto electrician. Great lamb chops in Restaurant. Best green beans I have had in many years.Will recomend to all as a stop over (great pool as well after a long drive)

Just off the N1 and a perfect location for a quick overnight between Johannesburg and Cape Town. We had a great room, which was really clean with shower and bath facilities. There were coffee and tea making facilities and a small fridge and a microwave. The lady who checked us in during the evening was friendly and helpful - she also assisted us in the dining room. We had lamb chops and chicken schnitzel for dinner at the restaurant together with a very nice bottle of wine. There is a nice garden with a pool and braai facilities. The bed had warm blankets and towels were also provided. Great location, very good price and friendly service …. what more do you need?

1 picture what is advertised, 2 picture what you get. Left Langebaan early to spend time next to pool in picture 1 and when we arrived, swimming pool was green and dirty. Stay was not worth it, cockrochers in the room, we slept on top of the bedding. Close to main road and all the trucks pass through from 4h00-500h right next to room...Ka-Ma Lodge will not see us ever again

We stayed here on Saturday 29/11 on our way to Midrand.Although it was next to the N1 it was quiet and peaceful.We paid R1400 for 3 adults without breakfast.

We didn’t stay here, but we had dinner at the restuarant. Lekker vibe, gorgeous outdoor area (for summer) and a great indoor fireplace. Unfortunately, they murdered my lamb chops; I did expect so much better in the Karoo.

Neat and clean with swimming pool and restaurant. Safe parking. Little fridge freezer, cattle etc. Warm shower. Was pleasantly surprised because of surroundings. The garden, swimming pool etc needs a bit of attention but they might be busy with it. Note: We stayed in room 2, the shower leaked at the bottom near basin and the TV was on and we could not switch off because could not find remote for TV. THE DECODER REMOTE DID NOT WORK. We did not want to switch off at wall.

Update: stayed at the lodge again, it's upgraded, and as lovely as ever. Stayed at the lodge again on my way back from Cape Town. Room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Microwave, fridge, DSTV and safe parking. The pool is lovely, and it's pet friendly. Staff are helpful and friendly. Well worth the money.
