Three Birds Country House

I stayed four nights attending the Boekbedonderd festival. It was out of the books! Beautiful rooms with fresh flowers. Crisp, white linnen and fluffy towels. Outside entertaining area with well equipped kitchen. Safe, off street parking.

We will always return. What a wonderful break to our journey from Cape Town back to Johannesburg. Decor is beautiful. Rooms spotless and smell so good. VERY LARGE room for 3 adults. Coffee maker and Honesty Bar a great touch. AMANDA is efficient and most Gracious. I wish all stop overs could be this amazing. 🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏🙏

We had a quick overnight stop and Amamda was so friendly to assist with a late check in. Rooms spacious and beautiful. Will become a regular stop for us travelling from Cape Town to the north.

Beyond expectation ..Amanda is a super host and the accommodation was exellent. For anyone travelling with a pet this is a perfect option as the property is secure and it's possible to walk into the village where there is a pet friendly restaurant.

What a pleasant experience! We called for a last minute booking, late in the evening and Amanda graciously assisted. Our room was beautiful and warmed for our arrival. Very friendly during the booking process and during our stay. Secure, and undercover parking on the property. We enjoyed the large bath and shower too!

We had a one-nighter stay over. Mary’s service was great, and the room was traditional, charming and beautiful. They paid attention to detail, and everything worked well.

We were desperately looking for accommodation on our way back to Gauteng first week of January 2024 for us three and our two furbabies. I found pet friendly accommodation in Richmond, but they were fully booked. Manna from Anra Rusgenot Guest House was super friendly and helpful and put my request on their whatsapp group so that if someone had availability, they could contact me. Janine from Three Birds Country House called me 5 minutes later. She accommodated us three and the two furbabies in a family room. It was superb!! The room was huge with an on-suit shower and its own private garden. It was very clean, comfortable and luxurious. Most important is that my furbabies were welcome! The property was very tidy and had a pool. The property manager was incredibly welcoming. We had supper at Vetmuis Plaaskombuis. The food was excellent! Richmond was lovely. I will definitely stop over at Three Birds Country House each time! What a great stay!
