My Labrador had such a welcoming and happy day at 4 Paws. I was also most impressed with the online booking. Its so easy to use. The warm welcome my dog received on arrival , plus they send you whatsapp photo's of your dog at play. I was so impressed, and could relax as I could see my lobby was wagging his tail and enjoying the games. I am so pleased that I found them and will definitely return in future. Thank you 4 Paws for giving my precious Labrador a wonderful experience ❤️
After countless attempts to have our golden retriever properly groomed over the yrs we gave up , then we saw this new shop in parklands open and we decided to send her to have groomed for her 12th birthday ,we dropped her off and she was handed over to Johnathan the groomer and I asked him to please take special care of the old lady. Wow. !! what a big surprise when we collected her she was beautiful and the best job we have ever had done in 12 yrs Thank you guys you went beyond our expectations and made us very happy to see her this good I highly recommend this grooming facility
I can’t say enough good things about 4 Paws and specifically Wayne, the owner. He has gone the extra mile in assisting me to resolve a serious challenge that has been troubling my dog and family. They didn't just provide a kennel; they provided a second home. It’s clear that the team here truly loves animals and are focused on the wellbeing of Leah. I am truly grateful and appreciative. Thank you Wayne and team.
We have 2 dogs that don’t just trust anyone and are a bit of a handful in the hands of strangers. My husband and I have been travelling and put them in the care of this hotel. Wayne and the team has made it so seamless and stress free for us. They know how to handle dogs and ours love them. I would recommend this place.
I just had a really upsetting experience at 4 Paws Inn. I took my dog to get his nails clipped and when he came out the staff at the desk told me they'd cut his one nail too short. When he tried to show me he started yanking his back legs and front paws in order to show me the nail. I'd told them when I arrived that my dog had hip dysplasia and that they need to be careful with him as he's sensitive. My dog was yelping from having his paws being pulled in all sorts of directions and his one nail had been cut right down to the quick and it was bleeding. The staff told me it's because his nail was too short to begin with which makes no sense whatsoever. He then proceeded to tell me that my dog is not in pain and he's fine, which made me very upset, since he was very clearly bleeding and yelping when they were man handling his paws. I expressed that this is not the correct way to cut a dog's nails to which the staff disagreed and would not apologise or admit that they had caused pain to my dog. They then told me they put some styptic powder in his nail to stop the bleeding but the powder they showed me did not look like styptic powder which is usually yellow, this stuff looked like ground up charcoal in an unlabeled tub. Then they dismissed my concerns by saying I must now pay and also sign up to be a member. Just utter disregard for the sensitivity of my poor pet (whose now limping on his back leg) and my concerns as an owner. Long story short, we won't be signing up to be members or ever coming back again.
Thanks guys for a last minute nail clip for our Duma before he travels with us to the UK!! Absolutely fantastic service from the 2 guys there 🙏🏽🙏🏽
The 4 Paws Inn and Hotel has had other bad reviews here and they were being threatened to be removed by 4 Paws. Yet, I am entitled to review them and give my honest opinion of 4 Paws since they have moved to a new premises. Firstly, there was no name on the outside of the building. Okay, not a big deal. Inside they were still "painting" and it looked like a construction site. I am attaching a picture of when I went to the back to see where our dogs were taken care of. They said this was a "transition" period and I spoke to the owner Tanya. I thought I had a nice, amicable conversation where she says she knows the facility is not ready and they will be ready within a week and willing to give me a tour then. That’s after her gentleman partner (I think his name was Wayne) was so rude and abrupt and attacking in his response. They say they only allowed "selected" customers during the transition period but that’s not true. Their booking system was open to everybody. Do not be fooled by the pictures on their site. It was a cold, raining night and our dogs was put in the attached enclosure with tiled floor. They say there were heaters; we saw none. Then we got a threatening message because we entered the back-site premises (for which there is no signage for "no entry") and that is what they focused on. Not their inadequate services. Not their rudeness. Not the fact that their premises are nothing like their website. I am still waiting for Tanya to send me a message for a follow-up visit on their terms to be persuaded this is a safe, warm, welcoming environment for our pet animals. Until then I will maintain the following: Do not be fooled by their website. Their new premises looks nothing like it. They lump different size dogs together, there’s no stimulation or blankets. (And by the way, the picture attached is what they sent me from their security cameras to intimidate me that I entered their back premises without consent. I do have video footage of what it actually looks like, which is much worse than this picture where they keep our pets.) I am still open to not revealing that footage if they update their premises. Our dogs will never return here, but I am looking out for other pet owners. Pets are like children and this is quick to threaten with messages and legal action whilst not taking accountability. Just say you recognise the deficiencies and do better. Do better not for your business but better because animals deserve decent care.
