Ridge House

What a lovely discover in Hermanus. This lodge, Linda, Martyn and the Staff were incredible. I would love to come back someday. The room was perfect, the view un breathtaking (like having breakfast watching dolphins) and the hot tub was amazing at sunset. We just had a quick stop for one night during our road trip to to the Western and Estearn Cape, but Linda was incredibly helpful, professional and friendly with us. She gave really good recommendations and tips 🙏🏼🥰 thanks thanks thanks

The only reason I gave this a 4 is probably not a significant matter for some, we were slap bang in the middle of winter and there was a weather front approaching, and there was no heating in the room by means of a electric blanket or aircon. There was a wood fire, yes, but due to the weather we've been experiencing lately, the wood was damp and the fireplace didn't warm up the 70sqm room. That being said, the rest is 5*! |The hot tub was ready for us on the deck, the view is amazing, the room is stunning, the welcome & hospitality was top notch and the breakfast was lovely. We most definitely recommend this lovely spot. Who needs the hustle & bustle of the beachfront, when you can have this. A mere 2min drive from the main square.

We stayed at Ridge House for two nights and enjoyed our stay sooo much. Our room is one of the most beautiful we have ever visited. The hosts Linda and Martyn were totally friendly, accommodating and gave us great tips for Hermanus. The breakfast was fantastic. One day we will come back. Thank you for everything 🫶🏻

We hade a lovely stay at Ridge’s house for 2 nights. Thank you for making us feel like home, lovely and delicious breakfast and an amazing view. Linda & Marten is too friendly and generous!🤍 They offered us tickets for the "Chelsa Flower in Stanford" which we did visited and enjoyed! 💐 See you soon.

We had an outstanding stay at the Ridge House. Linda and Marten were so kind and friendly. The Aloe suite was spotless on arrival, the breakfasts were delicious and the wood-fired hot tub (which they had heated on arrival) was a real treat. Would definitely stay again and strongly recommend.

A big thank you for the wonderful staff and owners of this magnificent place. We were in Hermanus for a short stay of two nights and we are fully satisfied with the hospitality, facilities and service from this place. The view is wonderful, the gentle breeze and the hot tub were nice extras. The is a nice walk/hike along the coast as well and the breakfast is lovely. If we would come back for the whales during a season to watch them, we will definitely book here for Hermanus again. Thanks again and hope to visit South Africa maybe some time in the next year again. All the best!

A beautiful guest house run with love. We were guests of Linda for three nights and it was very nice. The rooms are very nicely decorated, you have plenty of space and the attention to detail you can see on every meter. For breakfast there was every morning something different, freshly prepared to eat, which was always very tasty. It felt very homely, for breakfast there were always recommendations what we can do and where, for example, the whales are just well visible. We would always come back, it is highly recommended. Linda, you have a beautiful guest house!
