What a fantastic experience. Don't come here expecting to have 5 star facilities like London Zoo, it's a small, family run farm style petting zoo. The staff who work here are very friendly and clearly very passionate about looking after the animals. Adult entry is R45 and it's R15 for a bucket of food: carrots, apples and seed. You're allowed to enter all the animal enclosures to get up close and personal, just use your common sense and keep an eye on *your* children as the staff won't be there to supervise their behaviour. They have goats, guinea pigs, pigs, chickens, an alpaca, bunnies, rabbits and a hedgehog, oh and two very hungry tortoises. Enjoy and remember to was your hands before going home, I'd recommend brining some hand sanitizer with you.

I suppose they could give the place a bit of a makeover as it looks quite scruffy and dirty. But the food you buy to feed the animals is nice and fresh. The animals look well cared for, and it was really cool to be able to enter and actually "pet" and feed the animals! There are a few kinds of animals: sheep, pigs, goats, bunnies, a lama, chicken, and a peacock. The kids loved it! There is a nice big jungle gym for the kids, with tables in the shade to sit by. There is food available (braaibroodjies, snacks, and cold drinks)

Great little rustic petting farm off the beaten track. We heard of this place from family that recommended it. They don’t advertise this place a lot so it stays low key. Our daughter loved feeding the animals, so had to get her several buckets of feed which was worth it as she had so much fun. It’s not very big but it was perfect size for our little one and for us to sit and relax while she walked around feeding animals on her own.

Looked forward to this very much with my two small grandchildren. However, after verifying on their Google page that they are open, arrived before closed gates. They are closed for the winter! So, PHONE BEFORE YOU GO to make sure they are indeed open. Went for a follow up visit in January. Very nice for children. Lots of mostly farm animals and pets. They can really be "petted". My small 2yr old enjoyed it very much, especially feeding the tortoises and the llama and sheep

Not very attractive to the eye! The area is neglected and needs some maintenance! The animals look however well taken care of. There is no official coffee shop or type of restaurant. The info on Google is definitely misleading!

Lovely place to take the little ones! There are many animals to feed, from cute rabbits to goats and piggies. The entree fee is reasonable, along with the prices for food and refreshments. There is space to picnic (chairs and tables available) and food can be made for you at the petting farm. The animals are well looked after and eager to get a snack from you.

Great place to take kids. A total farm vibe! Place is in need of funding but kudos for doing the best they can, with what they have!
