I’m extremely disappointed with our experience using Key Moves Removals for our move from Somerset West to Ballito. The collection team (Toga and his crew) were excellent - professional, careful, and communicative. Unfortunately, the delivery side was the complete opposite. Communication with the delivery driver (Edzani) was terrible: I had to keep chasing him for two days for an ETA, and despite repeated promises to update me, he never did. He eventually arrived without notice. When our items arrived, several were damaged. Multiple tables were badly scratched and dinged, an outdoor table had broken legs, boxes were destroyed, our couch was filthy and had a tear on the side, and one double bed was completely broken. Even worse, someone had urinated on the side of our queen-size bed base and mattress (bear in mind that I cling wrapped both for protection). The collection experience initially gave me confidence, but the delivery experience was appalling and completely unacceptable for a professional removals company. I’ve attached a few of the photos (trust me there’s more).

I just want to thank Alex and his team for excellent service. Our goods were delivered today and everything was in excellent condition. The calm and serene manner in which they worked amazed me. They delivered on the specified time slot and we're very patient too. Keep up the good work, good service is rare, yours was absolutely outstanding. I would recommend Key Moves any time and everyone who's in need of reliable and fantastic service. Well done team!! You did it!!

I am taking this oppertunity to compliment the team that did our move yesterday, i want to give a special thanks to each and every member, they were so friendly and helpful, we really didnt have to do a thing except deligate which room to put what box/furniture item. What a pleasure it was even though i was dreading the move. I am so impressed and will be recommending Keymoves to anyone who plans to do a move and its all thanks to you and the moving team! This company is more than just their name. They are key to your move. They arrived on time, with a full team. All our stuff was packed and secured in 45 mins. The drop off was just as quick and secured. I was so impressed with them that I would recommend this to everyone. They were truly great!!!

A wow of a service. Just recently got Key Moves to transport my son's relocation furniture. For starters I got a good rate under R4000.00 from Kempton Park to Cape Town when the cheapest quotation was at R6500.00 Besides the rate, the luggage was picked up as indicated and delivery the other side too was earliest as they had said either Monday or Tuesday. So on Monday morning I received a call that the furniture was in CP and was delivered later in the day as the person receiving it was at work. Received intact and loved the consideration shown. Great service from Key Moves! The team was professional, friendly, and made my move smooth and stress-free. Everything arrived safely and the communication was excellent. Highly recommended!

I absolutely do not recommend this company at all. This whole process has been a complete joke. My biggest issue was with the administrative part of the business, specifically my communications with Danielle. She was incredibly condescending and frankly rude through out this process. She said that they can not make allowances to deliver my things on a weekend (which i was willing to pay extra for), however I can be assured that I can plan for delivery to happen after 4pm when I can leave work. Immediately after paying, she turns around and writes a whole email calling me inflexible and basically implying that I am unreasonable for wanting the delivery at 4pm, a complete contradiction from what we agreed on. They could not even tell me which day my things would arrive, but said I should expect a call on the day of delivery! This is an absolutely ridiculous policy to have as if people are not busy at work during the week?? I would have found a different service if this was communicated from the beginning. My things were collected more than an hour late, and also delivered more than an hour later than the time agreed on, after I had to take time off of work to accommodate them. Absolutely disgraceful and disappointing service from them. Never again The 1 star is for my things arriving in one piece, and the kindness Alex and the moving team showed me despite being late.
