Benoni Monkey And Bird Park

Lovely, hidden gem. The animals are beautifully cared for, and the park offers an impressive variety of birds, lizards, tigers, monkeys, wild cats and crocodiles. The peaceful atmosphere makes it perfect for a relaxed day out. There are well maintained braai facilities, pre booked party areas, and a convenient tuckshop for snacks and drinks. I highly recommend visiting this beautiful sanctuary. It is ideal for family outings, special celebrations, and unforgettable birthday parties.😁

Beautiful setup. So many interesting animals. The baby marmoset monkeys and a baby gibbon were very cute. Tigers, vultures, cranes, parrots, tortoises, meerkats, mongooses and so much more to see. They just got in 2 spotted hyaenas in last night but unfortunately we couldn’t see them as they were hiding that was understandable. So will come back to see them once they are settled. Bunny and Guinea pig petting area. Restaurant to buy food, drinks and snacks. Lots of seating. 2 big play areas. Worth the visit. All cages are very well looked after. Grounds are clean and neat. Lots of space for parties.

Wow what an experience!!! Went there today and found out my mom (pensioners) enter for free on a wednesday. From the very moment you enter the park you see animals and have a great experience!!! Birds, monkeys, tigers and hyenas, they have it all. They are also still busy extending the park and building. The food is okay. Waited a lomg time just for burgers and received mine cold. The chips made up for it atleast

What a well maintained park - as seen in the images, its exceptionally clean and very kid friendly. The enclosures are so neat and tidy for the animals its so refreshing to see the animals well taken care of the staff is friendly. Overall a spectacular place to visit

A perfect place for a relaxed day out with family and friends! The selection of animals is impressive, the environment is very clean, and there’s a great restaurant on-site. Plenty of seating and braai areas make it even more enjoyable. You have to visit—this is my absolute favourite place!!

Great place to host kids birthday parties. So much room for different activities. We'll looked after each time we go there!

From the moment we arrived, we were so impressed by how incredibly clean and well-maintained the entire park is. It’s clear that the staff takes immense pride in their work, and it makes for a truly pleasant environment. ​The animals all looked happy and well cared for, and the enclosures were immaculate. Beyond the beautiful surroundings, every single staff member we encountered was genuinely friendly and helpful. Their passion for the park and the animals is contagious. ​We had such a wonderful time and can't wait to visit again. This park is a testament to what a dedicated team and a commitment to cleanliness can achieve. Highly recommended!
