I was assisted today by Ntombikayise Gungqisa at Woolworths Farrarmere in Benoni, and it wasn’t the first time she has helped me. She is always very friendly, gives me different options to choose from, and provides excellent customer service. She is also always smiling, which makes the experience even better. Lebogang was also checking on customers to make sure they were okay. He was very helpful and clearly visible for anyone who needed assistance. Your store is wonderful—keep up the great work! 😊

It is very disappointing to note that the Woolworths Cafe at this site has a minuscule cafe menu as the photos will show, very different to previous menus at this site and not remotely resembling what is advertised as the winter menu on the official Woolworths website. I was informed that Woolworths now have changed the way the Cafe’s work in that they only offer the full menu on the larger stores, and a stripped down version on the smaller stores. Also the pecking has changed in that the stripped down menu is more expensive in the smaller stores and cheaper on the bigger stores. Therefore I would urge you to check before ordering the type of menu. Also it fundamentally changes this Cafe into a very basic quick meal concept offering NO HEARTY HOT MEALS IN PEAK WINTER. This is their winter menu. I am sure they based this decision on market take up, market dynamics at this store, etc but again the fact that they price the same items differently in the different cafes is shocking.

Some cashiers are friendly others not so much. Store is busy so best you get there before 10 over weekends if possible. The rotisserie chicken is always sold out before 11 on a Sunday. Large variety of the usual woolies fare.

Wonderful selection of food, drinks and treats. Well laid out. Cool and clean. Great staff. Shop was busy but the queue moved quickly.

Walked in there on a busy holiday season shopping day, got all my groceries I needed and even with the volume of people, the que for the tills moved along quickly. Always a pleasant store to go to

One of my favorite Woolies. I drive fairly far to get here and the reasons are as follows. The food is always fresh here and well stocked . Staff are Wonder and I get a " would you like a bag sir ? " and not the famous words —-" Plastic ???? " , they also willing to assist in the isles if you require assistance. This store is clean and well maintained. Meats are well presented and utmost care taken to ensure all food is hygienic and well presented. Sit down for a coffee and or a snack at the coffee shop - seating also available outside- must admit it’s the place to be seen !!! Queues move fast here when checking out. Only recently noticed that Woolies does recycling of batteries and bulbs ( boxes found at the exit ). One thing about the fresh flowers at Woolies ——- they last a long time ‼️‼️‼️ Great shopping experience here. Can’t resist the great wines on offer
