We have gone to Benoni Vet for many years now. We have cried, laughed and worked our way through so many challenges with Dr. Joe and Dr. Jackie. I always feel heard and my furkids always feel safe. It's a peaceful environment with people who genuinely love animals. From the vets to the vet techs to the team at the front desk (especially Terri whose always so warm and welcoming) and everything in between. It's a place that wants to help. Most importantly Benoni Vet is always honest about what they can and cannot do. Giving realistic expectations on every problem. This to me is always important and I always feel educated after having to deal with my babies health issues. Very grateful for the support, help and guidance they have given us over the years. I would like to thank you for all the years of looking after all our animals, the handling of the passing of Bitchcat. Dr Joe, DrJackie and Dr Victoria are the absolute best. I took my very distressed male Siamese to the vet today, and I am incredibly grateful for the care he received. He has been struggling with allergies and stress, scratching himself badly, and I was worried sick. Dr. Van der Molen did a thorough and gentle examination, shaved around the affected areas so they could heal properly, trimmed his nails to prevent further injury, and administered antibiotics, cortisone, and calming treatment. My boy is a typical Siamese—extremely vocal and expressive—yet he never made a sound during the entire visit. That alone speaks volumes about how safe and calm he felt in the doctor’s hands. A big thank you to the vet and the team for their professionalism, kindness, and genuine care. It made a world of difference for both of us. Highly recommended!

After reaching out in urgent need of advice, I was deeply disappointed by the response from the reception staff at this facility. Despite my request for assistance to be passed on to a doctor, the staff decided not to relay my message, claiming the doctors were too busy to contact me. As I am currently in Europe and unable to make direct phone calls, I relied on email communication to seek help. Unfortunately, this experience has been marked by complete unprofessionalism from the reception team. I have been a loyal client for years, with three pets under your care and a fully paid account. All I asked for was a brief phone consultation to help me make a difficult decision regarding my pet’s health. I had hoped to receive guidance from trusted veterinarians who know my animals’ history, but instead, I was met with dismissiveness and arrogance from the front desk. I am extremely disappointed and disheartened by the lack of compassion and professionalism shown. This review reflects my frustration and sadness that, after years of trust and loyalty, the quality of care and communication has fallen so drastically.

Anytime I need to take one of my friends all the team at Benoni vet are friendly helpful and sensitive to the fact that visiting the doctor can be traumatic. Thanks Dr Joe and team you guys are all super-stars.

Dr Joe was the most informative, kindest, warmest, most sincere and empathetic Dr/Vet that I have ever encountered in all my years of being a mom to all the beloved furbabies that I have had. While still being professional he was so sure to assure and reassure me that the biggest and most heartbreaking decision that I was about to make was done with the care and compassion that I needed as I felt as if my world was ending. As difficult as it was I left there knowing that what I had done was the right thing for my baby girl Ruby of 16 year's and that I wasn't alone in this, Dr Joe gave me the right advice at the most difficult crossroad in my life. There was no rush, no bill to add to the heartbreak when I walked out, but instead I was told I can sort things out when I collect her ashes - the thoughtfulness for the pain I was feeling was placed above money and for this, I too am truly grateful. You, Dr Joe helped me through a tough decision without being forceful, but rather kind, informative and so understanding and for this I will always be grateful.
