Dubai Centre Factory Shop

Went to the Benoni branch as people raved about it to me. Not sure why though. First, went to the upholstery department to look at couch covers. The assistant there told me they are out of stock for the past 6 months. No biggie. Then my mum went to get wool and crochet needles. Mind you, the wool was marked at R140.00 per pack of 5 x 100gram as per the sign on the pillar. All the wool was packed together on the floor in between the pillars. The only sign was as explained above. The stickers that are wrapped around the wool correspond to the sign. Go to the till and mum paid for her wool. When I checked the slip, the wool is R199.90 a pack. So obviously I queried it. Now, here it gets tricky. The guy at the till(didn't get his name) and Rashieda both insist that the wool we took is not on sale, even though it's packed with the wool on sale. And Rashieda says to me that we should have looked at the sticker on the side of the pack as the wool we took isn't the same. And we, as the customer, should have asked at the till. Now keep in mind, all the wool, the one on sale and the wool we took are packed in the same place with absolutely nothing to differentiate them. We still took the wool as mum wanted it. But this review is to highlight the absolute putrid client service from Rashieda who expects customers to think like a merchandiser. At any shop, any shop, items are clearly marked. Sales items are differentiated from non sale items. And if not, the customer is afford the benefit of the doubt not being made to be stupid like we can't shop. To everyone shopping at this branch, please ask the extremely clever Rashieda about what you buying before going to the till. It will save you some cash maybe and also save you from being made stupid when you query because of their merchandising. Non sale items packed with sale items without no signage so the customers must magically know this difference. Maybe the Boksburg branch is better, but I highly doubt it.

Unfriendly staff. Not helpfully at all. They're doing u a favour to help! Will never support them. Chamdor is still the best with helpfullness, friendless and quality!

Not much fabric here waste of drive time but if you looking for curtains it's well worth it
