I went to look at parrot cages and Elwin said they had one second-hand parrot cage with a stand that they were fixing up, i.e. cleaning and spraying and another second-hand one expected to come in the next few days, which they would also fix up nicely. He quoted R1200 per cage and stand. Earlier, I phoned about the progress, and was told it would be ready by the weekend. On Friday, only one cage and stand was finished, but Donovan said they would be finished with the other cage and stand by Saturday. In the meantime, I paid and confirmed transport for collecting and delivering the cages and stands. On intution, I phoned and confirm the prices, and was told that the cages and stands were now R2800 each! What a scam!

Deserves no stars at all. Shitty staff, no hygiene, never has stock, low variety and they refuse to sell me female budgies. And when I actually go there for a budgie pair, "oh no they dont have" ... thought you wanted to open a bussiness to make money?? Clearly not. Very poor customer service. No knowledge and poor animals are cramped in small cages and even underfed Good luck ..Not supporting you ever again.

Great service, friendly staff and always willing to help. They have a a lot of different animals that is well taken care of. And they give great advice about the animals.

Nice petshop, but there is a woman working there who is very rude. I was planning on buying a lot of things, but thanks to her horrid behavior I had no choice but to inform her that I will not be buying anything from them ever again. I think her name is Gail.

Bought my kids 2 rabbits. After getting home about 15 minutes later, the 2 looked a bit limp. The next morning, both were seriously sick. After a visit to the vet and R1200 in meds, the vet said the 2 had a virus and would possibly die. The vet confirmed that this is an all to regular occurrence from this shop. I will never buy another animal from you. You cost me R1200 in vet fees, R300 for rabbit feed, and a lot of heartache. I hope you get what you deserve.

They have nice kennels and cute puppies every now and then. Not a wide variety of pet food or anything else. It's also too small a space for everything they are cramming in there. If it's just you in the store...great! If there are more than 3 people there is no space to move around or shop properly. It's in a nice location though. Lots of things to do around the pet store.
