Pet Storey Boksburg

I would like to commend this staff member for his excellent service, Darrian . He was friendly, patient, and very helpful, taking the time to explain everything clearly and making me feel comfortable throughout my visit. His professional and engaging manner encouraged me to purchase more than I had planned, simply because of the trust and confidence he created. He is truly an asset to the store and deserves recognition and consideration for growth or promotion.

Very disturbing experience. I popped in this afternoon to look at some of the puppies available, and what I saw was heartbreaking. These dogs are kept in tiny cages, showing obvious signs of stress and under-stimulation—completely unsuitable for the active breeds they are. The smell of the cages was awful, and it was clear the animals are not being cared for in an enriching environment. What’s even more upsetting is seeing so much space dedicated to a bar, while the dogs are confined with no room to move or play. These are Australian Cattle Dogs—an intelligent, high-energy working breed—yet they’re being kept in conditions that ignore even their most basic needs. Please educate yourselves on the requirements of the animals you sell before treating them as mere products for profit. This is exactly why people advocate for adoption over shopping.

In December I went to pet masters in Boksburg as a last resort, The vet that I took my pekingnese too advised that she was paralyzed and required surgery. The gentleman by the name of Leonard at pet masters suggested 2 products that may assist her... We purchased those items and my little girl is walking again.... A big thank you to Leonard for his excellent product knowledge and exceptional service...

We walked into the fish department with a dream and no knowledge. We left with everything we needed and a bit wiser than when we entered. All we can say is thanks Darrian, your passion for the "product" you sell is unmistakable and we'll be back to tap your knowledge.

This store used to be so much better in the past at the old location. We were there a week ago The employee kept running away from us And then at the counter they over charged us, The price tag on the item and the price on the system was not the same I drove from Lenasia to the store , somehow it seems it's lost its ambiance and service.

Unfortunately I can't say anything positive about Pet Storey service and product quality. I bought some live mealworms today (I often buy them) and it's unacceptable to charge people so much money for such a small little tub with a couple worms and then you open them and half of them are dead. Mind you it's R39 a tub which is crazy as it is. Last time there were also some dead and for that amount of money it's NOT ACCEPTABLE. None of them should be dead. Put a piece of carrot in there or something. And its not the first time.

What a waste of time. Absolute disappointment. Might as well go to petzone . Perfect if you want fish. This has become another petshop with no pets for sale. I really miss having decent pet stores
