Petzone Northrand Square Boksburg

Please Correct your opening times, I got here at 8am like your Google profile shows only to find out the store actually opens at 9am.

I am only giving 1 star as I can't select anything lower. In my opinion, they don't even deserve 1 star. Today, I tried to buy dog food via the Mr D app. Only 2 shops are available, so I select this Petzone. The money goes off of my account instantly, then I wait for the store to accept my order. Then a message pops up that they can't fill my order as the item is unavailable. HOW CAN THEY INDICATE THAT THEY HAVE STOCK OF THE ITEM, ALLOW CUSTOMERS TO SELECT IT AND HAVE THE MONEY BE TAKEN OUT OF THEIR ACCOUNT IF THEY KNEW THEY HAD NO STOCK?!?!?!?!?! Who is in charge of updating their items on the Mr D app? Why are they receiving a salary if they are too incompatent to press a button to mark an item unavailable? Do they know how to read or did they get the job just because? I now have NO DOGFOOD and R300 out of pocket as the money is not going to be reversed back to my account and reflect immediately. Please note, I am going to share this experience with everyone on every community WhatsApp group I am on and I am going to name and shame this store on every social media group I can find.

Large selection of pet food and products however lacks some pet snack options which can be found at the other well known pet store in Boksburg. Not much staff support and help offered in store other than behind the counter. This is strictly a pet food and accessories store so do not expect any pets for sale. Very formal feel compared to other smaller establishments. Clean and neat.

Saw one of the staff packing the dog food, beating it down with his hands to level it out. Now I know why there I half a bag of crumbs in my dog food off the floor. Staff also isn't super helpful apparently I'm better at finding things in the store and distinguishing brand then the staff is.

Reasonable prices. Staff just need to be more present to assist. Got a dog cushion at R300 less than the competition and quite a bit less than online.

Really like this pet store! Easy parking. Always friendly. Much too choose from. Prices are decent. Never super busy, so you are in and out in 5min.

Helpful staff during the week I just walked through the doors and the lady asked if she could help me great service . But Sunday not so helpful . Was looking for dog food went through the whole store and only once I went to ask for help did someone help me
